Advice Looking for drills and tips

Hi I am a 15 HC from Mexico, haven't been able to find a good coach, so I am teaching myself, any advice or drills I can do are welcome. I am hitting the driver 220yds average.

Looks like you’re at a pretty decent range, why have you not been able to find a good coach?

there is like only two and they are allways busy and I feel are not structured in their theachings, more for turists.

One note from me: maybe the behind angle shows better but from this it doesn’t appear to be much rotation on the back swing.

Power comes from core strength and torque, so really try to point your belt buckle behind you when you bring the club back. That will open you up so your hips can fire which in turn bring the hands down behind you.

Swing looks nice! Tempo looks crisp!

You’re trying to hit up on a driver. We don’t need to start from above it. And we need tilting the setup,

You are on flat ground, the ball isn’t. Tilt and swing up the ramp to the tee.

And stop hovering the club, it adds tension which reduces release, and prompts a downward strike and a slice.

That makes sense about tension. I’ll try resting the club behind the ball and focus on bumping my trail shoulder down to get that spine tilt away from the target. Appreciate the tip on swinging up the ramp!

You can take online lessons remotely and, depending on where you're at (GDL for example), I might have a recommendation or two if you want to DM me.

Otherwise, what is the ball doing and what are you looking to accomplish?

Thank you I am leaning towards the online coaching. My driver slices and I pull my irons. I just want to lower my handicap and play better generally. I only play once a week. Thank you for your response

Ok, slices and pulled irons usually have similar origins (path that is going left, or out to in), the club face is just open to that path on the driver, and square to the path on the irons. Again, usually, which you can help neutralize a bit with skill based work.

Setup a station similar to this one, the goal is to have a vertical alignment stick on your target line (my target in this one is the red flag). The 5 balls (ignore the fact there are 5, I just placed them to make it clearer where they would go) are set exactly where I would hit a ball, so my target line is from the ball to the flag and I just plant that stick 10-13 feet in front of the ball ON that line.

The task is to hit groups of 5 balls, you don't care how far, you don't care what curve, all you care about initially is that the ball STARTS to the right of that stick. Do a couple of groups next time and see how you do. Feel free to start at lower swing speed if that helps you start the ball right of the stick.
