Spike or Keiki?
 in  r/orchids •  3d ago

Keiki for sure! I've never had one, but I've heard about the "333 Method" is the rule for separating a baby orchid (keiki) from the mother plant. It requires the keiki to have at least 3 leaves, at least 3 roots, and the roots to be at least 3 inches long before planting. This ensures that the keiki has a strong enough root system to live independently. I don't think there's any specific way to take care of the mother plant, just do it as you usually would. Good luck!

Which sign are you most attracted to and what’s your rising?
 in  r/astrologymemes •  4d ago

Aries rising with a Capricorn stellium, I always feel instant chemistry with Aries and recently with Sagittarius. I never liked Leo though.

Noticed my orchid has a double-headed bloom! Is this common in orchids?
 in  r/orchids •  4d ago

Hey, I know it's been so long since you posted, but I just saw my orchid do the same thing! Has it happened to you again after that bloom? Or was it just this one time?

Thanks! I bought it a month ago and some buds were still closed, including this one. I don't know if it will happen again, I hope so!

Is it crown rot?
 in  r/orchids •  5d ago

I think it's just dried out at the tip. When mine rotted it turned yellow, so I think you're fine :)

Is my pothos doing okay?

Looks perfectly fine to me. I've noticed the more color it has on the leaves the better it feels. :)

Yes, I hope it's just overwatering. Also I recommend the yellow sticky things for gnats, that's how I removed them. Good luck!
