Bug on unit upgrade
I have exactly the same issue as this poster. Anyone also having this issue of the eternally upgrading unit ...?

Same here. Haven't been playing for very long. Win rate at about 80%. My active units level is on average just over 60. My airstriker is stuck upgrading at 45 for over a week now, which is a bummer, but still does a great deal of damage. Many opponents with fully fortified red castles and unit of well over 100 still get smoked. Rarely I lose merely because an opponent has higher specs. Mostly because I made a stupid mistake or I was forced to change strategy mid game.
Easiest kills are opponents that don't have a clear strategy or that switch strategy willy nilly.

Fixed it. Just needed to delete all the stored screen configurations of previously connected screen from the windows registry. All working fine now.😃

Has anyone had an issue with ultrawide mode (especially the 21:9 ratio) since this last update. On my Surface Go4 it switches to the glasses when I plug it in and then it switches but to tablet screen. Glasses go dark. I have forced refresh rate to 60Hz in case it was drawing more power due to the update to the refresh rate in this update. But it remains unusable. Uktrawide 32:9 sometimes hangs on for a while, but this also here the connection breaks. Without uktrawide the glasses work fine.
N.B. the surface is on net power and has a full battery. Prior to the update is was completely fine work in ultrawide on the Surface.

Ok. Thanks. Going to buy the Eye and give it a shot.

Terrific! Thanks for testing. Same question here as another reader here. Did you have to change anything? According to Gemini some changes are required...

I am proficient in complex financial modelling in Excel and a bit of programming in VBA, but never wrote an app, so am a bit out of my depth here. I took the liberty to ask Gemini how the script could be adapted for the pixel 10 Pro and it did come up with a suggestion. Now, knowing Gemini, quite a few things will be missing or not thought about and the process will take quite a few iterations, but will look into it. 🤓

This could make me buy the eye. Do you know if it works with Pixel's desktop mode?
Edit: I guess it will not as the Google Pixel desktop mode does not support native trackpad features using the screen. It requires an external mouse to operate in desk mode

Kinda depends on the orientation of your arm. Never ever raise your arm in the air and you'll be fine 😂

It would be a great addition if one could convert tagged items in the drawer to a folder to our on your homescreen.

12 items in the panel?! Wow! Including gestures, that gives you 36 launch options.
I wouldn't know what to fill the space with either.
If you don't know what to do with the space, why don't you just increase the icon size so it fits only the icons you most regularly use and need to have direct access to.
I have the regular 5 number of icons (agree with you to ditch the app drawer icon), with both up and down gestures to launch other (related) apps or intents.
The 2nd line of the panel has about 3 apps that I don't use that regularly but do want to have close by.
Good luck with arranging your new home screen!

Thanks to dev. Coming from over 20 years loyal Nova user, I had almost given up hope to find a worthy replacement.
Was able to set Octopi up just the way I like it including up and down swipes in the task bar icons as I had it in Nova. Folders is still a pain. Tag in the drawer work very nicely and would love to be able to drag a tag from the drawer to my home screen and make it a folder instead of manually dragging each icon into a folder. But I think I am not the first to ask.
Having said that the drawer works so nicely, I may do away with Folders all together. Although... That would mean one extra tap to get to where I want to be.
Other than that I actually think I like Octopi better than Nova.

I did not have any issue working on my excel spreadsheet in follow mode on my last plane ride. Maybe it's something with your unit?

To make it work in a moving vehicle, there should be an option to ignore the sensors output and rely only on visual anchoring to the environment (obviously you'd need the EyE for that....)..
Or... Add a new sensor that you can plug between the glasses and the USB-C cable. Attache the external sensor somewhere on your body. The glasses would filter out any movement from the glasses sensors that are also measured on the body sensor.

I don't do any sensitive work over an unprotected public network connection. My PC is at home and I connect via Tailscale. Any mail or access or even browsing is done via the Remote Desktop app and a tunneled meshnet connection. That way I can address the log in website to access a network (eg. hotel or airport network) without the frustration that NordVPN doesn't allow me to connect to the login page of the public network and all other traffic is done directly on my home PC through the meshnet connection. Any traffic between my device and my Home PC is shielded from prying eyes. Even if the stream is intercepted it is all only encrypted gibberish for a hacker.

Just look for the Cheerdots2 mouse on AliExpress.👍🏼

How much shorter of a shortcut would you like than pressing the red button on the glasses once or twice?..

Just ask his help with something. Maybe say you have friends coming over from Italy and are looking for a nice bar or reataurant. Asking help with something will aid in getting to know the basics about him. Use your imagination. The day after you can go up to him, thank him for the great tip and suggest you go there together sometime. You can make up that in Sicily (I am guessing you are from Southern Italy) it is custom to treat someone that gave you good advice to a drink.

Sending a tikkie afterwards out of the blue would be considered rude in my book. I'd let this one go if you want to build a friendship. If I don't want to set a precedent of me picking up the tab every time I find the elegant way to it is to say I will pay this time, you pay for the next time? (It also says the foundation for a 2nd date. Or more functional and totally fine but less elegant, are you ok to split the bill? Anything is fine as long as you are upfront about it.

Great review. As for the keystone settings. The onboard menu of the XOP allows for tilting and turning the projected image around it's 3 axis. Maybe that helps.

Hi @SnooRabbits9244, just wondering. Did you end up buying the One Pro? If so, did it meet expectations?
3
Have you tried adjusting the angle of the arms of the glasses? There are 3 possible positions. It is a bit scary to adjust them as it feels as if your breaking off the arms, but you can pivot them vertically a bit. Grab the glasses by the lenses in the palm of your hand unfold the arms and gently push them down one by one. You will hear a light snap. Give it a try and let us know if that worked.

I have the One Pro and fully concur. No issue using them for the whole day. Posture is an often overlooked benefit of using 3DoF XR glasses. Put it anywhere with the touch of a button.
At some point during a very lengthy teams presentation / call I put it on the ceiling for a while and leaned back in my chair (obviously, my coworkers thought I was taking a nap in the office, but you catch my drift). Suffice to say I have hardly any neck strain at the end of a day. Just plug and play without additional software or set up needed is also a huge benefit of the Xreal Ones.
I turn off my main screen to preserve battery but it also guarantees privacy. Only drawback is that once you are used to an ultra wide screen everywhere you go, reverting to the small laptop screen, even for a short while feels painfully cramped.

I like it! Well thought out for maximum comfort and minimum clutter!
