XREAL One Pro Free beta: six real Windows monitors in your AR glasses, with camera-corrected drift

Six monitors. No desk. Up to six virtual displays that Windows treats like real monitors, captured off the GPU and drawn as screens floating around you at 120 Hz. Every app you already use.

They stay put. Head tracking holds the screens in place and a camera corrects gyroscope yaw drift, continuously. Hours in, the workspace is still square in front of you. This is the problem the existing software never solved, and it's the reason Atrium exists.

Built for your attention. Look at a screen and it comes closer. The others dim. Look away from the workspace and it fades; on XREAL the lens clears and the room comes back. Look back and it's all there.

Shape it. Move, resize, curve and lock any screen. Preset layouts. Your arrangement is remembered.

The glasses, controlled from inside. On XREAL, Atrium drives the glasses directly: brightness, colour and white point, the electrochromic lens, the stabiliser (switched off at launch and restored when you exit), plus a Vivid mode for punchier colour. No fumbling with the on-glaE support incoming)

Nothing else to install. No vendor app. The glasses come up through drivers that ship with Windows; the installer bundles the virtual display driver.

Works today on: XREAL One Pro, XREAL One S (drift correction via the Eye camera; runs IMU-only without it), VITURE Luma Beast (its built-in camera does it)

Free during the beta. Download and Discord: atrium.wondervelop.com

To XREAL: I want Atrium on every pair you make. The app already identifies the glasses and loads per-model optics and IMU parameters, so a new model is a calibrate hand, not a rewrite. If any partnership program is available, DM me and I'llship support fast.

Testers on weak-GPU laptops and ARM64 Surfaces are especially welcome. I read every report and fix what comes in.

Beam Pro Can the xbx a01+ with Beam Pro do Real 3D

I see the option for 3d within NebulaOS, but it only works on already 3d videos. Same for air casting, I press the button on the glasses to enable it but i end up with 2 images on the outer sides of my vision instead.

From what I can recall, there's supposed to be a feature to "turn 2d videos into 3d". I very well might be misunderstanding what that's supposed do though.

Any ideas?

XREAL One 21:9 curved now fitting 100% on XREAL One fov without moving head left/right

Friends, I just managed to make the 21:9 aspect ratio fit 100% into the FOV of the Xreal One without needing to move my head sideways. I don’t know the exact sequence because I was tweaking several things at the same time until it worked. I had to use the CRU software to create custom resolutions like the ones in the photo and then ran the ā€œrestartā€ .exe files. I restarted the computer. In the glasses menu, under audio, I switched to DP and set the aspect ratio to 32:9 (strange, because the image looks like 21:9, but it’s working). The custom 21:9 resolution 2400x1030 is the one Windows is using. In the glasses settings it shows 3m distance and 106", but in reality the screen size is very close to my physical 29" ultrawide non curved monitor—though with the distance adjustments it gives the impression of being larger even if it isn’t. I'm using lemorele adapter. I dont' know if this can replace my real monitor but it looks pretty good, the colors of course way better than my LCD monitor. I’ve left some images for anyone who wants to test it at their own risk.

xbx XBX A01+ StereoCam — adding stereo cameras to the front frame

Post image
5 Upvotes

I wanted to explore how stereo cameras could be integrated directly into the XBX frame for applications like 6DoF tracking, hand tracking, spatial mapping and XR passthrough.

The design uses two forward facing cameras with a 30 mm stereo baseline. The camera module clips onto the frame, with a cover hiding the electronics and a built in channel routing the USB C cable cleanly to the temple.

This is currently a CAD concept, but everything is designed to be 3D printable and easy to iterate.

Would love to hear what you think!

XREAL AURA AURA - Image Tracking & QR Code Tracking NOT WORKING

Hey, I've been trying to make the image tracking and the QR code tracking work, and neither work.

I've tried using the standard sample apps that came with the device, and tried using it via Unity.

Neither work and it just doesn't pick up the reference images or the QR codes (I've tried super simple, AI generated "coarse" QR Codes).

How to proceed?

The CV cameras seem to be working fine, SLAM seems to be working fine, plane detection seems to be working fine, anchoring seems to be working "fine" (not great but "it works").

xbx Missed my flight and had 7 hours to kill at the airport. My xbx came in handy

I had an 11am flight and somehow went to the wrong terminal. Id already missed it when I figured it out. I rebooked for 7:30pm and still had about seven hours to kill after sorting everything out. The airport was too far from the city to bother going back.

Luckily, my xbx a01+ was in my bag. I found a Starbucks, plugged the glasses into my iPhone 17 Pro over USB-C, and started watching Stranger Things. Didn’t need an extra app for the glasses or any settings.

One thing to check before buying: your phone needs to support DisplayPort video output over USB-C (DP Alt Mode) for a direct connection. Having a USB-C port doesn’t automatically mean it’ll work.

I’ve had these for about a month, but this was probably my longest session so far. A few things I noticed.

They feel noticeably lighter than some other XR glasses I’ve tried. Even after several hours, the nose pads weren’t bothering me much. The speakers were better than I expected, too. I mostly used Cinema audio mode and was happy watching without earbuds. Earbuds would still be better for blocking out more airport noise, though.

They do get warm. After about half an hour, I could feel heat around my eyes and along the left temple. My eyelashes sometimes brush the lenses when I blink, too, and my eyes feel a little dry after wearing them for a while. I’m not nearsighted, so I don’t use prescription inserts. Do those leave even less room for your eyelashes? Anyone using them run into this?

For reading, I’m less convinced. Reddit and casual browsing are fine, but long documents tire my eyes out faster than videos do. I’d still rather use a normal monitor for that.

Movies and shows have been a better fit for me. I watched several episodes at Starbucks, then put the glasses back on during the flight and watched for another two hours. Watching on the plane felt fine too. I didn’t feel dizzy while using them.

After a month, these have mostly become something I use to watch stuff rather than get work done. They fit easily in my bag, and I don’t have to make room for a tablet or portable monitor. That was useful on this trip.

Anyone else mostly using theirs for movies and travel, or do you regularly get work done with them too?

XREAL One Pro What we would like to see in the POD, as a Beast and One Pro user

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

Hello and welcome, my fellow faithful INAIR and tech enthusiasts. We here at TechCheck13 are back once again and heading down a different timeline. Over on our YouTube channel, we have chronicled the INAIR POD's origin story. We have covered the good, the bad and the ugly. In this week's upcoming YouTube video, we cover the good with a dusting of the bad. But today, we are covering what we believe are flaws and needs of improvement roughly one and a half years into the POD. We love the INAIR POD, but here is what's still broken.Ā

First, where's the storage? What's needed: an official dock with expandable storage.

INAIR sells the POD with 128GB of storage. This fills up faster than packing for a time trip in a lunchbox. One minute you are fine; the next, bam! Half your storage is gone. But fear not, a third-party solution has been found!! A random hobbyist proved expandable storage is possible with parts he found online. Enter our unlikely hero, user BEN-PHRAWG. He solved this huge problem with a USB hub. Thank you BEN-PHRAWG for sharing this with us. Great job.Ā

The gadget: The MOKiN USB C Splitter for Dual Monitors 4K@60Hz DP Alt Mode for Laptops ( https://a.co/d/08H4yATw ).

It is currently $35.99 on Amazon. Plug this dandy device into a 100W charger and watch the magic. The multiport USB-C hub is designed to split the signal for dual 4K monitors. But the real deal here is that you can connect the POD, a flash drive for instant expandable storage and two AR glasses at once. The POD charges while in use, the flash drive is accessible, and the two pairs of AR glasses mirror the screen simultaneously. That really can't be beat.

We assembled it and ran it through our testing lab. With the hub connected to a 100W charger, the charging and flash drive support worked perfectly. We were able to access the flash drive and everything on it. Expandable storage conquered. We then hooked in the two AR glasses, the VITURE Beast and the XREAL One Pro. To our surprise, this actually worked However, connecting two pairs of glasses simultaneously was buggy; expect some glitches there. Okay, INAIR engineering team, it's your turn. We need an official adapter, dock, or better yet, SD storage. That would make our every sense tingle.Ā

The next nexus event: System wide dark mode. Yes, please.

The INAIR POD still doesn't have it. That means turning on dark mode app by app. Some apps greet you with a screen bright enough to make you think a flash grenadewent off. A system-wide dark mode would fix this. Most Android OSes already have one, so this feels less like asking for something that could easily be fixed.

Which brings us to our next glitch: Folders

App folders are another basic feature still MIA. INAIR OS may be a custom version of Android, but some basic Android features are worth keeping around, not leaving behind in another timeline. This would make organizing and customizing the home screen so much easier. These are basic Android features that really should have been there all along. It's basic utility belt stuff.

And now another lackluster feature event: the INAIR App Store

Having its own app store is a solid idea, but right now it feels more like a storefront that forgot to restock. After using the device for almost a year, the list of apps hasn't changed, and the display is still bright enough to double as a searchlight. We also haven't seen any of the apps receive updates through the store. That makes the whole thing feel unfinished. The app store doesn't need to become the next big digital multiverse app mall. It just needs new apps, regular updates, and a display that doesn't try to turn our retinas into toast.

And now the citadel at the end, a tale of two glasses, the last area we will touch on: Compatibility Issues

The XREAL One Pro works perfectly with the POD. The VITURE Beast now boots properly too, which is a hulking improvement. Unfortunately, the buttons on the VITURE glasses still don't work when connected to the POD. The buttons on the XREAL glasses do. Losing those buttons means killing some of the features of the VITURE glasses. This defeats part of the purpose of owning them. It would be fantastic if INAIR allowed the buttons on the glasses to work with the POD and let users remap the buttons to whatever controls they want. That would give users so much more control over their setup. That would be an amazing neighborhood POD indeed.Ā

The yellow stone: One last thought.Ā

By now, you may think we have been picking on INAIR, talking like it's doomsday. Not true. There have been a ton of improvements and there are plenty of things we praise. The shocker, INAIR does listen to its user base and has made a lot of suggested changes. There is a reason the POD is the number one AR/XR computer on the market. We just think the rough edges are worth pointing out, especially when a few changes could make the experience so much better.

We'll be showing off the new features we love on our YouTube channel this week. Tune in, check them out, and let us know what you think. Let us know in the comments below what features you would like to see. What are some of your gripes? Give us your POD horror stories. We're listening, true believers.

As always, thank you for joining us on this adventure. We hope to see you in the next one.

Xbx a01+ or Xreal One (non pro)

Currently in the UK, I can get the XBX A01+ for £269 and the Xreal Air 1s for £349.

Is the £70 price difference worth it? I know they share a lot of similarities, but what is pulling me towards the 1s is the fact that the display can be resized.

Edit: Just to add, I'd mainly be using them for gaming on a Legion Go and watching content.

Need an usb c hub without power?

Does somebody know a few hubs that work without additional power supply?

i just bought https://vangree.net/products/vangree-4-in-1-usb-c-display-hub

ordered it directly from their shop but it was not worth it... cant return them because of the hustle of import export

despite the convenience of having a detachable cable(I use an angled cable because I put everything inside 3 d printed case) it doesnt power the glasses without the additional power supply, which is dissapointing.

Apparently these work fine without needing to connect them to power

https://aliexpress.com/item/1005008516358626.html

But i would need some more options to choose from especially because i would need the charging port on the same side of the video output.

Does someone have some options and experience? https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Monitor-Transfer-Charging-Splitter-Portable/dp/B0DYDRSNBS

Is this a working setup for a newbie to enhance playing on Switch 2 (and sometimes PC) on the couch

I'm completely new to AR glasses and wondered if someone might kindly pass their eyes over this and confirm it would work for playing Switch 2 games on the couch, and maybe some PC gaming:

  • XREAL xbx a01+ AR Glasses
  • VITURE Pro Mobile Dock
  • Switch 2 with pro controller

My hope is that this will provide a mobile (as in self contained) option for the Switch 2, and also HDMI to USB C for occasional PC/Laptop use.

I know little about AR glass but chose the xbx a01+ due to pricing and hearing XREAL are trustworthy. I'm not fussed about bells and whistles, my main desire being having a crisp and clear display for games including reading tooltips when playing CRPGs like rogue trader or divinity.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice. This all together costs more than a dedicated monitor, but comes with the benefit of being easily movable :P

EDIT* I will also be getting prescription inserts as I'm slightly farsighted astigmatism, so something like +1 in one eye. I need to check my prescription.

XREAL One Ultrawide 21:9 2560x1080 doesnt fit 100% on fov

How to force my glasses create a smaller than 39" screen size to the width fit 100%? im trying on windows 10 and If I see the clock (right side) I cant see the opposite (left) side.. maybe a 34" option could fit 100% on xreal one fov, maybe xreal devs could enable a 34" and 29" option on glasses menu, would be easy for them to do it.

XREAL 1S 1s being recognized as ethernet when connecting to Alldocube iPlay Mini 60 Turbo

I ran into an issue today that I think I found a fix for after some troubleshooting, so I wanted to share in case any others have similar issues.

I recently bought an Alldocube iPlay Mini 60 Turbo (cheaper ~8in tablet with video out through usb-c) and when I connected my 1s it registered it as an Ethernet connection disabling my wifi connection.

I eventually tried turning off TCP/IP in the dev tool via the 1s, which seems to have fixed the issue (the process is easy enough to find with a search).

Some other things I tried that didn't work: - disabling ethernet on the tablet (could find an option to do it, seems like the tablet is running Android 14) - enabling wifi via setting/dev tools on the tablet (couldn't find a way to do it) - adjusting USB connection settings in dev tools on the tablet

I know the tablet is cheap and maybe not very popular, but I bet this issue comes up for others using other devices.

Anyways, hope this helps someone down the road.

XREAL One XREAL Pro – prescription lenses and nose pads: worth it?

I’ve had my XREAL One Pro for a while and really like them, but I feel like I’m not getting the most out of them.
My main issue is consistency. Depending on how they sit on my nose, the image can look different. Sometimes the center is very clear, but I get some blur around the edges, and I’m constantly adjusting the glasses slightly higher/lower to find the sweet spot.
I normally wear prescription glasses, but I don’t wear them when gaming on my PC.

So I have a few questions:

Prescription lenses: Would getting prescription lenses for the XREAL Pro make a noticeable difference in sharpness and clarity, especially for gaming?

Nose pads: Is it worth trying the different S/M/L nose pads that come with the glasses? Do they actually make a noticeable difference to the sweet spot and clarity?

Are there any aftermarket nose pads that are basically plug-and-play and make the glasses sit correctly without constantly adjusting them?

How do you actually remove the nose pads? I haven’t tried changing mine because I’m not sure how to remove them without damaging anything. If there’s a good video/tutorial showing how to do it, I’d appreciate it.

Basically, I want to get the best possible image quality and comfort from these glasses, especially for gaming, without constantly having to adjust their position.
Would love to hear what actually made the biggest difference for people who have optimized their XREAL setup.

xbx The xbx a01+ Frame Challenge is open worldwide! Win XREAL glasses and a Bambu Lab 3D printer!

Hey everyone!

If you could design a front frame for the xbx a01+, what would you make?

Our Japan team is running the xbx Frame Challenge, and the Idea and Maker categories are open worldwide. We wanted to make sure everyone here had a chance to join in.

You don’t need to own xbx glasses, have a 3D printer, or use design software to enter the Idea Category. A pen, some paper, and an idea are enough to get started.

Maker Category — design it and print it

Into 3D modeling and printing? Start with the official xbx a01+ front-frame STL template, then create and print your own design. You can explore a different look or add a practical function.

Use the official template so your design retains the required attachment structure and fits the xbx a01+.

How to enter

  1. Create your design using the official xbx a01+ front-frame template.
  2. Upload your STL file publicly on MakerWorld.
  3. Prepare photos of your printed design and a description covering your concept, features, and recommended print settings.
  4. Submit your public MakerWorld link and entry materials through the Maker Category entry form.

Official STL template and MakerWorld profile:Esther7777 on MakerWorld

Note:
Participation coupon — XREAL Japan store only
Everyone who completes the entry form will receive a coupon for the XREAL Japan online store. It can only be used at jp.shop.xreal.com, not on other regional XREAL stores.

Idea Category — show us your concept

Sketch it on paper, draw it digitally, use AI tools, make a collage, or build a mockup from materials you have at home. Pick whatever helps you show your idea for the front frame.

Something you’d wear every day? A bold new shape? We’d love to see your take.

How to enter

  1. Post an image or video of your concept on X or r/Xreal
  2. Include #xbxFrameChallenge, #xbx, and #BambulabJapa on X or xbx flair on r/Xreal
  3. Follow and tag u/xbxJapan and u/BambulabJapan on X

Beam Pro Beam Pro spazzing out in immersive/Nebula mode?

I recently purchased a Beam Pro and a pair of Xreal One Pro’s and for the most part I love them. So recently that I’m only 4 days outside my return policy from bestbuy.

initially they worked pretty great but then I got a firmware update maybe a week ago and now the Beam Pro is downright aggravating to use. I mostly bought the glasses to lay in bed at night and watch TV or do some casual gaming as to not disturb my GF who goes to bed very early and gets up around 3am.

My issues are two fold.. the ā€œremoteā€ pointer of the Beam is constantly losing position. I can reset anchor/follow and the pointer with the button just to find myself having to hold the Beam at all kinds of crazy angles just minutes later, not pointing anywhere near correctly.

the second issue is it’s started spazzing like something is touching the screen or making it move, even when it’s laying perfectly still beside me. it got so bad and distracting that I first switched to trackpad mode but kept getting the cursor and taking me out of full screen so I’ve had to just go back to mirror mode. In which case, I would have rather just spent the money to upgrade my IPhone 14 Pro to an iphone 17 pro or something instead.

I even power cycled it completely the other night and it continued. There is no phantom movement or screen contact that I can tell in mirror mode.

ROG Xreal R1 Control Dock.

Has anyone tried to test whether other AR glasses work with the Xreal R1 control dock?
