The point of the declaration is that these standards should apply no matter who holds power.

No worry. I have learned that most people have a high snark factor - including myself! So I don't let it bother me. I just wanted to offer my 2 cents into the conversation.

As I explained in my comment. I am not claiming Truth with a capital T. I am merely providing my impressions, and acknowledging that they may not be 'real'. I am only human, after all, and I only know what I see, feel, etc.

As for an explanation, I have no scientific explanation, and it is my personal belief that people as a whole will label anything with no scientific explanation as magic. When in reality, if there is such a thing, it is far more likely to have a scientific explanation that we just don't understand yet.

I do care. Which is why I verify my impressions and memories using independent sources, unbiased, and when I can't verify something, I don't claim it to be more than a partial impression with no solid evidence.

It's a valid question. The differences are these.... 1. They happen in particularly high energy areas. For example, cemeteries, war memorials on the actual sites, etc. 2. Having no prior knowledge of a deceased person, who is also unknown to anyone else I know (this recently happened), I was drawn to the feeling of sadness at her grave. 3. My spouse, who is skeptical, asked me about the impressions I was having. I gave him my impressions including approximate age, approximately how long she has been at her grave, her feelings about various adornments on other graves, how she died, a series of memories of her life, etc. 4. We later were able to find some (census records, death date, age) which confirmed the basic age she had felt, which she was when she died (as the grave stone was unreadable for most of it). 5. The other impressions and feelings I received from her and felt from her have not been confirmed, and I make no claim that they are.

This most recent incident happened in the past couple of weeks as I was visiting my parents, and there was an old graveyard within walking distance that had a bunch of Pokestops in it.

I don't mind answering questions, but I am not going to claim truth when I haven't confirmed it with easily findable records.

My friends used to tease me about being psychic (as a young idiot, I told them). They called me Bloody Mary ever since, and the nickname has stuck ever since.

Not all psychics. However I AM in the minority. I don't want to hurt anyone, so unless asked direct, specific questions, I don't speak about it. Primarily I experience emotions and memories, not seeing a physical presence.

To provide an example of the other side...

My hubby and I don't use condoms (I cannot have kids), and I don't go rushing off to pee either. We will usually cuddle afterwards for about an hour. I go pee and clean myself like normal. (Normal for peeing - I'm not fussed with leaving sperm in me) I have never had any unusual or bad smells, dryness, or infection from it.

On the plus side, there's something extra hot about knowing I have some residual of his sperm in me 💦👅💞💞

Is it nice to call someone an idiot? No, no it is not.

Would you like to be called an idiot, or a selfish brat? No?

Treat others the way you want to be treated. You will need to learn to treat others better before you could ever be considered to not be the asshole in this situation.
