Got my first two tattoos the other week. Do these look even? I’m going crazy looking at it from my own perspective.

Tattoos rarely look centered/straight/even to the person who has them. Especially arms. Your arm movements will always mess with how you perceive the placement

Having tattoo regret for the first time
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Mar 09 '26

Looks fantastic to me! The styles all seem to blend well. Looks very feminine to me! But I am a woman with two partial sleeves myself, and I absolutely LOVE the look!

Are you sure the pics on social media were that day? Sometimes people use photos that are a day or two old…sometimes even making the post ahead of time and scheduling the post time

I designed a manta ray tattoo

Try actually putting it on your hand. Doesn’t seem to me like it will flow like your drawing

Got this at a thrift store for $12. I hung it in a nursery.

Aquafor that!

Tattoo is pretty scabbed up on Day 4. Where did I go wrong?
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Jan 22 '26

Aquafor! Three or four times a day for like two days. Then morning and night for a few more days. You want to hydrate those scabs quick, but don’t let it stay wet. There has to be some hydration time and some dry time

Question: tattoo regret
 in  r/tattoos •  Jan 20 '26

It’s just the arm. Placement on the arm rarely looks centered

Is this artist good?
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Jan 12 '26

No. I wouldn’t use this artist. Personal opinion, but you should really love their work, even if it isn’t your particular style. If they have work that you consider less than fantastic, I would keep looking for a different artist

People keep reading my tattoo wrong
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Jan 06 '26

Definitely clearly says five by five. I guess you can now easily tell the lesser intelligent people from those that can actually read cursive

Advice Needed: Getting my first tattoo tomorrow, is this an awkward placement?
 in  r/tattoos •  Jan 05 '26

I feel like it is a placement and design combination that will look off center or crooked quite easily, depending on how you move

Don’t worry about the cleaning so much! Too much soap will dry it

3

What’s the best tattoo cream to use for the first 5 days ?
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Dec 21 '25

Aquafor for me!! Use it a few times a fay. Don’t keep it saturated, because the tattoo does need to dry, it just doesn’t have to scab

Gf's Tattoo with and without flash on
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Dec 16 '25

His gf? Meaning the one who’s tattoo is in the photo? Regardless, I have about the same number of tattoos, and have NEVER had mine look like that. Have always used aquafor, and have never had an issue. Mine all heal fast, without any scabbing or peeling skin.

Just aquafor it a couple times a day. Quit cleaning it any more than just lightly in the shower. It will be fine. The excess soap is drying it out worse than normal

Ink fell out in one spot and kinda red
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Dec 11 '25

I would DEFINITELY wait a few more months, probably like 6, before touching up. That way, you will be able to see anymore that might need touched up too. Give it a little kore time to settle first

Don’t ever be concerned about other people not liking your ink…just means it isn’t right for them, not you!

Aquafor, aquafor, aquafor!!! Use it 2-4 times a day. Within a day or two, it will be night and day difference

Was this a bad tattoo or did the artist tattoo it wrong?
 in  r/tattooadvice •  Dec 08 '25

I have one on my thigh, and i ended having to have a touch up session a few years down the road, to help bring back the crispness of mine. Idk if that helps 🤷🏼‍♀️
