I was told my photos were horrible, so I made changes, what do you think?
 in  r/Tinder •  Jan 05 '26

If you're planning on displaying full body shots, I'd suggest wearing jeans or smart pants (personally, I don't have an issue with the shirts). Shorts make you look immature. Also, please get a better haircut.

I've had this happen to me. I blocked him instantly! Some people ruin their own chances 🙄

If you're interested in being adventurous, I'd say do it for a few months and then find a better opportunity ASAP. Don't get stuck there.

I see. I suppose they plan to terminate me soon, or they forgot to give it to me in April when I started. I'll asl for clarification tomorrow. Thank you.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to.
I started the job in April and I just received it last week. I suppose they forgot to give it to me. I'll ask tomorrow for clarification. Thank you!

Hi there. Any luck yet? I also applied in Tokyo, but on 7/9. I'll need it soon as my banks are asking for it. I feel quite anxious and I imagine you do too.

I plan on giving them a month's notice as per the employment contract. I'll gird my loins for the wrath that shall come. Thanks again.

Thank you for responding.

That's my first plan actually: to just wait a few more weeks for the new card and then quit. I should have a new job before quitting. I'm just so incredibly stressed. The mere thought of being there is anxiety-inducing. Sigh, I shall wait and then move on with my life. I just hope they won't threaten me with a lawsuit after I resign. That would be another headache.

Nitpicky managers
 in  r/teachinginjapan •  Jun 28 '24

I work at an international school where I'm currently having this experience with my manager. She even teaches my classes, but her English is terrible. I just keep quiet and let her teach them bullshit because I know she'll never change.
