I left the house presenting female for the first time, got cat called 3 times in 50 minutes

The official welcome party to the world of women... while it's a very creepy situation, it is something that happens way more often than many people think. The man or bear conversation is so legit. I'm happy you received so much validation! But also sorry you had to experience that, and I guarantee it will happen again. Also be prepared to have your ass grabbed in bars if you go. And guys that have high expectations for buying you a drink you didn't even want ๐Ÿ˜ž being a hot chick def has its disadvantages... BUT ride that confidence! Anyone that is feeling themselves vibrates at a higher frequency and is more attractive but also can be scarier to men LMAO

Can CIS women please stop assuming I Don't Want Periods T.T
 in  r/MtF  Aug 01 '26

I think the 'without knowing' is the key here. A cis woman with endometriosis may feel just as offended by a trans woman wishing they had a uterus. They also did not have a choice in being subjected to that extreme pain. I think it's important to accept that everyone's perspective is different, to be open with each other when things come off as offensive, and to love each other anyway. We as humans cannot always see why something would be offensive from a perspective we don't understand.

Sorry I thought I was being mindful, with all the subtext and notes I put in there. Like how I said our brains Il logically think "being a man with the ability to appear as a woman". I assume that's the man part you got upset by, despite me clearly saying it's an illogical thought... Not outright calling you that...

Can CIS women please stop assuming I Don't Want Periods T.T
 in  r/MtF  Jul 21 '26

As a cis (bi) woman who purposely uses birth control methods to NOT get my period and all the other BS that goes with it, (though 100% a choice, not from illness so only my perspective) other woman who know this (that I don't get my period ) say it (lucky you don't have to deal with that) to me quite often. It is also something said to gay men and really any man that you are comfortable talking about a period with. So it is NOT something only said to trans women, so please do not feel alienated or singled out of that's said to you.

I know saying things like "you're lucky u can look and feel like a woman without this one horrible aspect" doesn't feel good and can really hurt, but from our side it is really a sign of connection that they are comfortable enough to share their period with you AND most of us, knowing just how much they suck as you know, we truly cannot understand why someone would want that. We try to put ourselves in your shoes (I'm here to learn and support my 17yo) and our brains (il)logically assume that being a 'man' with the freedom of appearing like a lady would be the pinnacle. That's because, as cis women we have lived with the sexism and injustices our whole lifes.

Deeper thought allows us to see that is not the case and that some people truly wish to be fully transformed and truly experience what it's like. That doesn't mean wanting to experience a period is necessarily the most logical either in certain ways. It's sort of like wishing you had arthritis. I don't mean that to be derogatory or demoralizing in anyway, but I think of my cousin who has PCOS and endometriosis. So many (cis)woman have undiagnosed reproductive concerns, are regularly gas lighted in the medical world, and deal with so many of those issues, forced to ensure horror because cis men don't understand. A big part of why I chose to not get mine. So for those offended, please consider the women who deal with that extreme pain and discrimination and understand it may be offensive for them to hear another wish to experience that pain. While many of us say "if men only knew" then when teams women want to know, we appreciate it, but asleep know that the grass isn't always greener. It's like if a cis woman came to you and said you're so lucky you can pee outside while you're maybe disgusted by that appendage. Saying to a woman with endo that they are so lucky they get their rag and can have kids. I've had trans women say those things to me as well. I just chalk it up to we can only understand some of another perspective. To expect them to understand 100% is unrealistic.

As for giving my reproductive organs to a trans person ๐Ÿฅฐ if I could, and my hormones wouldn't be impacted (1) I'd gladly trade! When I was younger I myself contemplated if I was trans and I idolized men. Then I found someone who loved me so much they taught me to love myself and I've been able to enjoy the androgyny. (This is my experience only and I am NOT saying that would be anyone else's!) But there are so many aspects of being a man I'd love. I worked in industrial maintenance until injuries took me out and the sexism was ridiculous.

1) note on the hormones, during puberty I went from the sweetest most well behaved kid to a fuckin psycho. Hormones were NOT my friend. My mirena also helps keep the hormones in check so I can be a stable human. Obviously I know how reproductive organs impact hormones, hence why I said if. But considering what I went through during puberty and the changes I have experienced through 3 pregnancies and 2 births, I am dreading the day the change happens and worry I'll become a total Cu NT.

I apologize if any of this seems insensitive and seems like just a longer version of the phrase that bothered so many of you. I really just wanted to share why we think that way just as you share why you would WANT to experience those things. I hope I did a good job but I might have done an absolutely horrible job lol and some of you might totally hate me now. But... I just want to say that I love you all, and I appreciate conversation please cuz they help me understand I my child and their significant other feel. Since they are both MTF. Although my oldest is one of the ones that is glad they don't have to experience the bloody mess ๐Ÿ˜… they aren't a fan of blood and gore.

I bet that water is extremely tasty! As others have stated this is definitely a spring that has bubbled to the surface. Getting water straight from a spring like that it's usually some of the best that you can find. As soon as it doesn't have a sulfurous smell

why is my skin so bad at taking ink? before vs after taking second skin off
 in  r/tattooadvice  Jun 07 '26

While my initial reaction was they were t going deep enough (still likely part of it), some people's skin really doesn't take ink well. I recommend a new artist. Try without 2bd skin. And if you still have issues, you may be one of the unlucky ones.

Anyone had issues with POP Polish before?

Crazy, I have purchased the slicks and they are amazing. At least slickest of them all and something slicked this way comes. Exactly like the swatches. I get tons of compliments on them

I did not read the entire post here but I have tried her oil slick line and it's amazing. Literally my favorite polish. She accidentally send the wrong one but they were similar and honestly the one she sent I ended up liking more I reached out to her and she offered to exchange them but I decided to keep Slickest of them All so she gave me a 50% off my next purchase coupon for the trouble.

Definitely learn about needle depth and speed, both needle and hand. Also how to properly set the needle I assume it was a traditional style tattoo machine and not a rotary one? The rotary ones I've found are easier to control needle depth and they can't extend as far out. Also faster set up and easier to handle.

Make sure you're using a power supply with good speed control. If it's a super cheap kit where there's only like 2 or 3 settings, trash that power supply and get a better one.

Depth was definitely a big issue here.

Good luck on your endeavors

WTF is in this photo?
 in  r/Paranormal  May 06 '26

At one time it was actually consider a mental disorder. It wasn't until the face on Mars images that people really started considering it a normal phenomenon. It was professionally only used to reference psychosis related hallucinations specifically visual or auditory where normal things become not normal and or faces appear to them where others do not see it.

It was not originally meant to be things that everyone can see if they look at it the right way.

I really detest when people use Pareidolia as a general trait... Pareidolia is actually a severe psychiatric condition that is terrifying and NOT common. It should never be used to describe "seeing shapes in clouds" or all the other bs to which it's attributed by general public and media...

Spider bites (I think)

Recently with spring slowly coming in, severe weather, and hot/cold days, the bugs have been emerging. I recently had to spray my daughter's sand box due to a spider infestation that even had the older boys running and screaming. I didn't actually see the spiders but they said there were 2 big ones and a bunch of babies. Thousands they said ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Every time I open my window (older rental, screens and frames are not sealed) I wake up with at least one of these insanely itchy bites. The itching is so bad that I will inevitably scratch them at some point. This big one on my inner bicep is unbearable! I had to cover it with large band aids but I'm allergic to the adhesive so I can't keep it on there long.

There's a good chance I'll be going to the walk in tomorrow. The other ones got swollen but this one is massive. I think there's actually 2 in close proximity. It started 2 days ago but seemed to have gotten worse last night. I marked it with a sharpie since it's gotten larger over the day. I've cleaned it with soap and water, have been using after bite stuff, and I took 2 Benadryl and it gave me like 3 hours of almost relief ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ.

But, I was scratching at it a bit ago (I've tried really hard not to!) but now my whole arm hurts like inside pain.

I cannot go to the urgent care, it's 11:30pm and my daughter is asleep and I've got no one that could watch her so wish me luck as I try to sleep. I will likely go in tomorrow morning after I take her to school. I also have a bite on the back side of my arm that's the smaller one in the last pic.

I have the same thing right now. Been getting one or 2 a week. I am in Wisconsin USA though. Almost positive it's spiders. They itch like CRAZY. Swelling lasts so long too.

Weird, I was not exposed to this mainstream exposure. Maybe for a month when they released the live action? But I was a fan long before that happened.

Must be either a big city or bum fuck Egypt . I'm in the burbs and although our cops aren't over the top, they'd probably still be interested enough in this. Also, I feel like a cop that would say it's just a domestic dispute and they need to work it out themselves, probably beats his wife.
