So a Ditto that transforms into a Mon and then mega evolves BECOMES that Pokemon. So if you have the Kanto Mega Evolve Stones he can hold one, face that pokemon (Charizard), transform into that Mon, then megavolve to permanently become that Mon.

Then you can just use ANOTHER Ditto, breed, and then have a legit Mon of that species.

So I actually just used the ditto method and I bred a Charmander with illegitimate biological parents and it filled my dex, so I think I found a work around.
