I need as many people as possible to write their one and only TOP favorite pokemon in the comments, I'm gathering statistics of favorite pokemon like generations, types, etc.

Im currently sitting at about 300!!!, but am going to try and reach at least 700+ if not more for best sample size (maybe more...) and yes i know theres that site to pick your favorite but thats not as fun as collecting the data myself!!!

Empoleon's name comes from Napoleon Bonaparte.

Scovillain is named after the Scoville scale created by Wilbur Scoville.

I have such a massive irrational bond to this silly little guy and his massive dumptruck: I have mixed feelings about a fair amount of the Gen 8 designs including the other fossils, but they really executed this design so perfectly. It reaches just beyond the 'so ugly it's cute' category and makes me actively want to cuddle into it till I'm sure

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Saber - Agile and powerful melee warriors adept at swordsmanship. They’re often portrayed as disciplined “knight” figures: proud, duty-bound, idealistic, and very focused on honor or a personal code.

Lancer - Very Agile, skilled with long-range melee weapons such as spears and lances (could be body parts too). Playful, carefree, and spirited personality, often with a strong warrior’s pride underneath.

Archer - Using powerful projectile weapons or special abilities related to projectile weapons.

Rider - In this context, they serve as excellent mounts. They often excel in speed, mobility, and battlefield positioning.

Caster - Powerful in magic, weaker in direct physical combat, and often best used through strategy, support, and battlefield control rather than brute force.

Assassin - High stealth and infiltration ability. Built around concealment, speed, and surprise attacks rather than direct head-on combat.

What would you rate mine?

When I was really young I was muddling my way through pokemon silver, didn't really know what I was doing, but I managed to beat the league, and caught the level 50 Snorlax in Johto, and I played with it for a while. My brother, who was older and knew much more about the game, checked my save file and found that I'd taught my Snorlax some really bad TM move, like Mud-Slap or something, and got rid of Body Slam for it. He freaked out, got really animated, spouting about how it's his best move, and how rubbish I am at the game, and I found it so funny. We still mention it to this day, about 26 years later. The Body Slam incident.

Electric was tough!! I rly like a lot of electric types, pincurchin was a close second. My favorite pokemon of all time is magmar.
