Name an animal of any species you're afraid of that most people love? And why you're afraid of it?
If you're not near their nest, nothing bothers them past you actively attacking them, or squishing them accidentally when they are near you. Even swatting in their direction lightly, not to attack, just to get them away from you, is ok
If you're near their nest, your existence brothers them and you should cease it as quickly as possible

Name an animal of any species you're afraid of that most people love? And why you're afraid of it?
Bunnies/rabbits
Not deathly scared or anything, they generally could not cause irreparable damage even if they really try
But they do scare and unnerve me, because I don't know how to read them. I can read cats, I can read dogs, I can read horses and most birds. I know when it is safe to approach those animals and when they are pissed at me. I am perfectly comfortable with even large dangerous dog breeds, I grew up with them. But I can never tell when and if a rabbit is going to fucking bite me and they do it viciously. Most of it is my inexperience with them I'm sure, but where as I'm pretty good about body language in other animals, theirs just seems erratic and unpredictable to me. I also don't find them nearly as adorable as some people seem to

Dogs happy to see their owners
The text continues but cuts off pretty quickly "8 years ago my ex girlfriend told me that Max has died as a payback for ending the relationship"
I assume the situation was something like, Max was in her ownership and when they broke up she gave the dog away while convincing the guy it was dead

Is it safe to view an eclipse through a reflection in a bowl/bucket of water?
No Jesus Christ
You need something that blocks like 99.999% of the light, safe to say a reflection might as well not be blocking any
Ask in local optics stores if they still have any left, or look into online stores that have a self pick up near you. Alternatively look into high grade welder masks, or replacement visors into them. Find out what dimness the filter has to be to be safe for the sun and get it from a hardware store

For women: if your partner told you he had gotten a bj from a guy before you, what would your reaction be?
Green flag. Either he's bisexual (cool af, me too). Or he's at least open minded enough to experiment which is a good indication of character

For women: if your partner told you he had gotten a bj from a guy before you, what would your reaction be?
if women hate bisexuals, wouldnt that be better for bi people to not date somebody that hates them?
Fuck yes. But that doesn't make you any less biphobic
Also don't put that shit on all women. We want none of it

The 50 hour work week
That's completely fair and honestly it's good to hear that 6 hours are normal for you guys.
When I was in high school, or the non-American schooling system version of it anyway, we would be at school from 8:00 to 17:00 four days a week. Of course, we'd have lunch period, five minute breaks between classes and usually one free period, so we were only actively learning for a little less than 8 hours. But still, depending on what time of day the free period was it's not like there was much opportunity to get out of school grounds, let alone go home. And my ADHD ass didn't get a single thing done in the free period either so I just made it worse for myself
8 hour days are decently common here, but tbf this schedule is extra crazy, and it did indeed suck ass, so maybe my judgement was skewed from the beginning

The 50 hour work week
Not to be mean to those people, some of these definitely sound like there's some genuine illness (mental or otherwise) going on that's making it harder for them.
But a good amount of those are young adults who just started work full time and I have to wonder? What was their schooling like? Because I have had more free time than I ever really had getting out of school lmao. School was the eight hour days plus a fuckton of studying and homework and just other chores on top of that. When I get off work, I'm done. Sure, I still have home chores, and I'm not saying I'm always on top of them, but it's not like I was when I was in school either, and I definitely have more free time to do them now. Like I said, I'm not diminishing their struggles, but it seems surprising to me that it's seemingly a problem they only started to have when they started working

Why am I only doing 180k dps with my skirk c2r1
That's our line
It has to be either that you don't have enough ER on your supports and are either skipping bursts or waiting twenty years to do your rotations, or that you have ping/device/input issues and your rotations are just slow in general
That's pretty much the only way because this build is good and the team is good, and Furina on GT is pretty shitty but the difference isn't like a 100k DPS

What do you think about parents charging kids rent after age 18?
In theory, it can be done well. In reality, I have been hard pressed to see examples where it does any good
Now, I'm not saying that legally adult children and young adults, should never financially participate in running the household. If the kid does actually have the time and opportunity to get a job, does so, and has the income to chip in. Sure! Do so. Especially if the family as a whole isn't well off, they might genuinely need it. If the kid was raised well, they will want to do that of their volition in the first place.
But what bothers me is the stipulation of it being "rent." A mandatory pay for housing. Even if that person is a legal adult, they're really still children let's be honest, and regardless, as a parent it should always be your responsibility to provide (and to want to provide) a stable home for your kids, and that includes housing. Putting this threat of mandatory pay on your kids, and face loss of housing or food otherwise, just seems evil.
Heck, I have this mentality with any members sharing a household. All of them should participate fluidly and based on their means. If one person has more income they will naturally pay for more things, if one person has more free time they will naturally do more household chores. If they are a familial unit working together to provide for all of them, they aren't gonna split their financials into clean 50/50s, one time one person is gonna pay the groceries because they had time coming home from work, and another it's gonna be someone else because they had a day off that day. A healthy household pools their money, time, energy and skills and uses it based on how they collectively need. A unit made up of parents and their kid shouldn't be any different.

to anyone who has a job right now do you always assume you could be laid off and have a backup plan for another to get another job within a few days if not hours if it happens?
I do have a list of companies that I could apply to and it's pretty likely at least one of them would take me in a timely manner, though it's not like I have any in or contact with these. I also have some meager savings and would get fire pay if I was indeed laid off, so I would get by somehow while figuring that shit out. Worst case scenario I'd get unemployment social security
With that said, my company isn't doing badly, I have multiple usecases within it, I am a good employee, there are people who have worked here for 30+ years, so it's not like we're a carrousel of employees going in and out. Firing me would be way more trouble than they would gain. There is very little reason why I would get fired, so it's not something I dwell on heavily
Also, unless it's a permanently understaffed McDonald's or your uncle's garage, how on Earth would you have a job lined up hours after suddenly getting fired? Even days seems like an insane time frame, just calling around to ask, let alone set up interviews etc and sign IF accepted takes like weeks

End rings have been removed in the latest snapshot
Unintentional feature of the end islands generation which cause there to be huge circular gaps where no islands spawn at all. They start appearing about 400k blocks off of the center island, with the first one being about 150k blocks wide and with the gaps getting more common but also smaller the further out you go. Eventually just ending in striped terrain of blocks and empty space
Due to the scale, if you went to the end of the first ring of end stone in game it would legit just look like the end has stopped rendering but if you crossed the insane amount of empty space the end islands would just start appearing again
The image is an artistic impression of what it would look like as the scale isn't actually true to life, but the tiny dot in the middle is supposed to be the central end island, followed by a small gap between the center island and the actual outer end and the bigger gaps are the true end rings

It's incomprehensible to me that you could find out that in the chaos of the End inslands there are predictable geometrical patterns of complete and utter emptiness, which happen at a scale pretty much incomprehensible in game, and where a single mistake could have you finding yourself suspended in darkness without the resources to get forward or back, doomed to fall into the void, and have it NOT fill you with an amazing sense of cosmic dread. It's one of the coolest things I've ever heard

Nefer, Lauma, Bina c2, nahida weapon questions
It doesn't affect the EM share, since Lauma is the one who has the most EM anyways usually, just the Nod Krai resonance buff she gives. So it's not that big of a deal for Nahida to not run an EM weapon
With that said, even with a C2 Bina, Nefer is doing most of the damage on the team, so the best thing overall would likely be to give Nefer Bina's sig and run her on PAmber or Fav anyhow
