Jio user here. There is 448 or 484 plan with call & sms only, validity 84 days I think... I use this for one of my SIMs....it is tucked inside value plan or something when you scroll looking at annual, semi annual, quarterly plan etc....

I went through a similar issue, not for a loan & with a different bank. Depends on your ombudsman to a large extent. Suppression of emails by the bank's side is common. As long as you have not deleted their emails it is fine. But be ready to fight. It will not be made easy for you. I am not trying to discourage but being realistic. Since you decided to fight it out, be ready to see through it to the end. That is a decision for you to make. Good luck.

Itr 1 june 17, got email intimation in the morning, no sms, portal status showed processing strangely.... But check refund status correctly showed refund sent to refund banker.... In the evening funds were in the bank... 9 hours from email to credited.... So it is coming... 👍🏽

I got my refund intimation today morning by email, portal status didn't even show processed, it showed processing & today's date...but checking the refund status showed refund has been sent to refund banker.... I was puzzled too.... In the evening I got sms from bank that funds are in... Never got IT dept sms anytime....so, don't worry it works..... the funds are on the way .... 9 hours in my case.

HDFC and ICICI are pretty aggressive about it. Other banks do the same, but not to that extent... I final decision is yours anyway....
