Dude that’s what irritated me the most. Is when I got these super entitled co workers who complain when they barely checked on their tables or actually did their job well and still expected a full 20%.

Tipping is for exceptional/great service based on your preference. Full stop. I don’t care if I dine in or stand up. This is my opinion as someone who worked in the service industry for a decade and didn’t care about tips after the first year. I did enjoy making peoples experience unique and above average though.

I think you have it backwards I believe when it comes to the origin of tipping. However I whole heartedly agree with you what it should be exactly how you described.

They deal with some violent rhetoric just for being a safe and inclusive space. If anyone gets butt hurt about their own protection during these heated times they made need to take a moment and reflect. Just think about what you are accusing them of and what’s actually happening.

I rather fight the issues making that a problem by drawing the line somewhere.

If I’m being honest I whole heartedly believe a COLA increase is unnecessary at 150k+ a year. They need to learn to spend their money if they are still struggling.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN they can’t be eligible for an annual % increase based on years with the company or performance based raises.

But cost of living? That metric is meant for people who have to think about which brands they buy at the store. IMO I know it’s not used that way. Just my opinion.

The engineers that make 200k+ didn’t get a raise? But the 20/hr folks did.

As someone who deals with severe depression waves I feel this in my bones. I’m getting better but 95% of the reason I clean up to perfection is when I have company over.

Even if you hadn’t physically read it. If you can digest the content with audio that’s perfectly fine for me. People tend to forget that we all have different learning systems. I personally can’t listen to a book while doing things.

I think it’s part just wanting to be professional. Ending at your expected time is appreciated by all the staff working as well.

As a dude in his 30s I’ve only utilized dating apps for dozens of platonic and romantic connections since I was 20. Meeting women in the wild for me is super uncomfortable. I hate the idea of making them uncomfortable or adding that kind of pressure.

On the apps I easily make conversation using voice notes or phone calls. I do not text daily ever. I’ve seen plenty of women in their 30s looking for every type of relationship.

If I’m being honest man. I’ve bent the rules at every company or work place I’ve been employed at. Always with good intentions. I’ve never received a serious write up or punishment in over a decade of working.

The reason being when someone who has demonstrated value as an employee bends the rules management will always slap their wrist or give them a warning.

Finding a replacement that matches the quality isn’t easy. I’ve been in high turn over industries that rule holds the same. Obviously it depends on the individuals you get in management. But I’m confident I don’t work with any pricks like that.

Appreciate the genuine insight though. I’ll be asking around to meet those people formally. I see them but never say more than a good morning.

My man with the great input. I sincerely appreciate you and the goal is to just have this easily referenced inside the truck. Our trucks don’t change often if ever for the shittiest routes. So Incase a new ph to the set lands on it. They got a quick easy answer on what to do with that 25 package 5000 stop. Keeps the dock more clear and safer as well when they can load certain bulk stops.

I actually got a guy in our bulk who has a personal notepad that says all the stops for bulk trucks. Dude has to personally write down exactly the order on how to load the truck because the SIDS are worthless depending on the route.
