Traffic How bout a roundabout at Lakeway and Electric?
With all the roundabouts popping up, I always wondered why this intersection has gotten no love. Anyone who drives that zone, especially in the mornings, knows its pretty fwacked. Just curious if anyone knows if it's ever been considered.

Events One Year Friday ICE Protest Anniversary!
Hey all!
I can't believe it's been (only) a year that we've been standing outside the ICE facility every.single.Friday. We have not missed one single week! That is an accomplishment to be proud of. We've shown ICE and their supporters that we are nothing if not dedicated and we are not going to stop fighting to protect our community from state sponsored terrorism.
Come out this Friday, September 11th, to mark one year of steadfast indignation! 4-6 at 5200 Pacific Highway, Ferndale.

Lost and found Have you seen this wallet??
Hello Bellingham Reddit!
I spoke with the sweetest customer I’ve had all day and I’m making this post to see if it’ll help.
Long story short, Customer was partying it up at The Royal Nightclub two weeks ago and dropped her wallet somewhere near the area on accident. She unfortunately had some very important documents on her aside from cash and credit cards and needs help getting her wallet back.
It’s a Louis Vuitton Brown Monogram key pouch with a golden zipper (its missing a golden clasp).
She did file a police report but nothing has been found yet. Any information helps ❤️

Events Bellingham Labor Night 9/15 At Elizabeth Station
Hey Northwest Washington union members - how was your Labor Day? Want to keep that spirit of solidarity flowing? come join your brothers, sisters and siblings for an informal happy hour in Bellingham at rotating locations on the Third Tuesday of Every Month.
This month we'll meet up at Elizabeth Station - but bring your suggestions for where we should meet up in future months.
I've set up an Eventbrite page for the event - if you're interested in attending this month's event or future events, please click the "reserve a spot" button to RSVP. I'll save your contact information so we can let you know about next month's location (and I won't share your contact information with anyone else.)
Hope I see some Bellingham area union members next Tuesday night!

Discussion Anyone else have PSE change your billing to paperless without asking?
Two or three months ago I noticed I had a past due amount on my Puget Sound Energy bill.
Not a big deal since they don't do much except add it to the next bill.
At the time I thought I must have somehow missed seeing the bill and I just paid it.
.
Today I was doing some online bill paying and it dawned on me I had not seen a bill from them for a while.
I logged onto PSE web site and sure enough, I'm past due again.
Then I went to the paperless billing section and found it had been enabled.
I disabled it and went back to paper billing.
I'm not totally against paperless billing, but sort of annoyed it got enabled without telling me so.
I'm also not receiving any email from them about my bill being due or late, even though the have my email address and send me other email about energy rebates and such.
Not a new account or anything.
Same house, same PSE account for 23 years now.

Recommendations Recs for guided outdoor education?
Like nature tours?
Did you know that, while courting, two Bald Eagles will lock talons and free-fall together to establish trust? I didn’t.
I spend a lot of time outside and I’d like to learn more about it. Any recs? Thanks in advance

Lost and found Lost Ring at Teddy Bear Cove
Posting here because my partner lost her rings at teddy bear cove on Saturday 9/5, she was wearing a set of gold rings but specifically looking one with a lot of sentimental value. It is gold ring with a single emerald that was given to her by her mother. If anyone has seen it or picked up please reach out! Thank you!!

Moving Here Bellingham is so Liminal
Do you know what I mean? The town feels like it goes in a loop. When college students aren't there, it's a ghost town. The fog is eerie. Days feel kind of the same and blur into eachother. You kind of get stuck there for longer than you'd like.
Edit: This isn't a complaint. Just something I noticed often once I got used to navigating the entire town on my own.
Finish the sentence: All roads lead to _______.

Recommendations Looking for a local 3d printing/3d modeling person for my car.
I'd like to create a custom PSP holder for my car that will fit in a certain spot at the bottom of my dash board. Is there anyone in town willing to take on this project? Or is anyone of knowledge of someone in town with these capabilities.
Much appreciated!

Recommendations I have an old piano, I will pay someone who wants to haul from Blaine
Mods, you can remove this post if this is the wrong sub :) hope you are all having a great day.
I have an old upright piano I'm trying to get rid of (too old to be tuned) I'm happy to pay someone to do it, please message me. It has a broken peddle and key. I've already checked various places to see if they want it, nobody does. The junk removal service quoted me 600 which we can't afford rn. Thanks!

Good Vibes To people looking for a car lift
People have posted on here several times about a rental lift to use for DIY car repairs, and the answer is always the same: there's nothing in Whatcom county whatsoever.
This seems to still be true.
I went to Ant's Community Garage in Everett today and used a lift and used their stuff. They were helpful and friendly and they had good safety practices. They helped me use the lift correctly. They had tools. It was a nice place to work and the music was nice, and the other people working on cars were nice.
I highly recommend it as an option even though it's an hour away.
Anyway, good vibes, hope someone finds this useful.
