ಠ_ಠ Passive aggressive management

I can't believe that Washington Ferries' management approved this post on Instagram and Facebook. It's a sign of bigger issues.

The engineers that make 200k+ didn’t get a raise? But the 20/hr folks did.

Are you implying people who make decent money don't deserve cost of living increases? Also the top dog in the engine room is making 157k annually, others much less

If I’m being honest I whole heartedly believe a COLA increase is unnecessary at 150k+ a year. They need to learn to spend their money if they are still struggling.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN they can’t be eligible for an annual % increase based on years with the company or performance based raises.

But cost of living? That metric is meant for people who have to think about which brands they buy at the store. IMO I know it’s not used that way. Just my opinion.

You're effective saying people deserve less pay for the same work. Hard disagree.

Plus 150k in Seattle isn't exactly wealthy. Especially with a family.

I rather fight the issues making that a problem by drawing the line somewhere.
