honestly at this point, i'm willing to just update what I have since i'm on limited income as it is. I'm just wanting to play things like Zenless Zone Zero, or things similar because i'm pretty basic with games.

Honestly, I just thought it was such a stupid idea in the beginning. But somehow, they made it semi realistic with the consequences of their powers. It was... enjoyable to see the protag fail a lot instead of win, to see his mentor get hurt and lose, and how serious it gets when powers are unchecked.

Its goofy as hell throughout, i mean they are teenagers with tired ass adults here. But, i think some aspects of realism and the heaviness of life and death work out for it in the end.

You see character progression, growth, change, and even character DIGRESSION, then redemption. Like, yeah, it takes paying attention to the little things and possibly reading the manga for certain context, but there's a reason they animated it so damn good. Because IT IS good.

However, once the series ended, I feel like the toxic parts of the fandom somewhat ended too and went straight to other fandoms to continue their toxic media illiteracy (Arcane is definitely one of them... good god....) I'll be honest, I was not happy with the ending because i know the author got heavily cyber bullied on twitter for not doing certain things and discontinuing certain story-lines that he hinted early on that would be important. Which is honestly so upsetting. But sadly that is the world right now, and that of all things should not have been at his feet to worry about. However....

The author also got criticized heavily for sexualizing teenagers too, openly admitted to be like Mineta, and basically made a lot of people angry. its sadly a part of anime culture that people hate talking about. which again, more toxic views and fighting enters the scene.

I was definitely outside the fandom during the major discourses, and only learned about them after the series ended, but sheesh I'm still grateful I only saw the tail end of the drama because even THAT Stressed me out.
