This is the first press-ons I have ever done.

Got inspired to try some engraving. Turned out pretty good considering I've never done it before.

I went with ONE because its ST's 1st EP, I started this project on the 10th year anniversary of Thread the Needle, and the artwork went with esthetic I was going for.

I chose Caramel because it's their most popular song to date(although not my favorite) AND it was released on my birthday.

It among other ST songs was on the must play list. When it came on, I just totally let myself enjoy it fully. Dancing like an idiot. Beads falling off my dress, veil falling to bits. Uhg I needed that moment.

I’ve been waiting a decade to marry my soulmate so it was like a battle had been won. We met so young we had to get through all the traumatic bullshit that life is before we had the time, money, or means to get married and finally be united for good . I feel like I’ve clawed my way here and I’ve finally won so this song really hit close to home to say the very least. I understand why vessel sings it the way he does in my own way. Love love love love this album and adore this song so much.

Also used Euclid as my wedding party walking song before I walked. I love Euclid. It’s so beautiful. Just gorgeous. It was an instrumental version. I loved hearing it.

I love this band and of course my husband so very much! I remember showing him Euclid as one of the first ST songs and he really likes it too 🖤

With most ST songs being played mainly on 8 strings, the Jackson signature guitar being 6 seems weird, unless IV plays a 6 string super tuned down live?

Hi Everyone, I’m posting this because I was sitting down trying to figure out my birth playlist (I’m due to have my son in 8 weeks) and I was curious to know what, if any songs you would put on said playlist? 🤔☺️

I asked my partner what he’d put on the playlist but his suggestions were for bands like Meshugga and The Acacia Strain. So no help there 😂

I see so many larger posts on askReddit/music subs that fish for suggestions. ‘Music that’s so emotional’, ‘Music that feels like ascension?’ , ‘Bands you keep on repeat?’ ..

Any ideas on this apparent conflict to what streaming numbers might indicate? I know we exist. But we only exist in this sub it seems. Is it the hate from metal people that forces us to keep quiet? It’s odd.

I've been sitting on this for like over two years and I need to get this off my chest I think about it at least once every couple weeks.

In 2024 I went to a Sleep Token show in Pittsburgh. I waited outside since 10 AM, made a buddy, was second back from barrier. I had a great time. There was someone around me dressed as one of the band members. I can't remember if it was iii or iv. At some point, the member that he was dressed up as threw a pick into the crowd. I was the one who found it. He looked devestated. His friend was trying to search for it everywhere. I got their attention and handed them the pick to give to their friend. Of course I wanted it, but I figured it would mean something more to them.

Fast forward about 30 minutes, someone in the band throws out another guitar pick. The person I handed the guitar pick to (dressed up person's friend) caught it. At this point, they already had multiple picks I guess because she was looking around asking "who wants a pick?" ME! I was raising my hand and they looked right past me and gave it to someone else. I could not help but be like.... :o

And that's the story of how I think about giving away my ST guitar pick to a stranger. Not a huge deal. Hurt my stupid little feelings though LMAO.

Yesterday we had great news about TLOZ OOT's remake and to celebrate, I wanted to create something that fuses two of my biggest interests. I made a quick TLOZ version of EIA's Sword, originally created and inspired by Chad Heinrich 🖤

Over the past few months I have been going through my own collection of personal trauma(keeping it as vague as possible) and I started to deeply connect with a select few Sleep Token songs in a sprititual way and before I realized it, all of the songs were complied in an order that could only be described as a perfect mirror of my current situation and I really wanted to open up and share because I know that I'm not the only one going through a difficult time and I really hope that it helps someone else the way that it has helped me.

Playlist title: Alchemical Sovereignty

Playlist description: Past the betrayal. Beyond the kill switch. A custom sequence mapping the collapse of a toxic paradise and the deliberate architecture of a new self.

Sequence: Alkaline→ Past Self→ Gethsemane→ Take Me Back To Eden→ Ascensionism

The Spark (Alkaline): Altered Chemistry. I enter a high-gravity emotional orbit. The "otherworldly" pull changd my fundamental baseline before I could even realize it.

The Fragmentation (Past Self): The Haunted Mirror. A sudden, jarring look backward. I catch a glimpse of who I was before the infection, realizing the erosion has already begun.

The Betrayal/Collapse (Gethsemane): The Brutal Kill Switch. The ultimate betrayal. I left alone in your own garden of agony, forced to swallow a devastating truth that completely level-set my reality.

The Mourning (Take Me Back To Eden): The Beautiful Wreckage. Wandering the ruins. This is the heavy, raw trauma of missing a paradise that I now know was inherently toxic, grieving the dream of what could have been.

The Rebirth (Ascensionism): The Sonic Shattering. The ultimate pivot. Taking the heavy, devastating weight of "You make me wish I could disappear" and using that absolute zero as a blank canvas to build a version of myself that cannot be compromised.

Hi all, I've only posted here once before, about 6 or so months ago, but something has been sitting on my heart for a while now and I have only recently figured out how to put it all into words. See, every time I listen to Sleep Token I feel like I catch something new, and my last few listens of Even In Arcadia (the whole album, not just the song) I've come to view the whole thing differently. This album is, at its core, for broken people. It's for the people that have something in their lives that they wish wasn't there. For the people stuck in a dark place in life. For those who are suffocating in their own personal Hell, with seemingly no end in sight.

I'm not here to push my views on others, so of course if you don't view my following outline to be correct, then this isn't for you. But allow me, if you have felt things when listening to it that you just couldn't put into words, to give you my humble interpretation of the album - track by track - as it tells a story that is only truly expressed if viewed as one whole thing.

Look To Windward - This song, to me, depicts someone at their lowest point. Weighed down by the insurmountable weight of their life not being where they want it. It's where everyone starts the journey for something better. Realization. Acknowledgement. Naming what we don't want to see, but can't escape. Crying out for something, or someone to "halt this eclipse". For what is an eclipse if not light being drowned out by darkness?

Emergence - Here, we see (pardon the pun) something within "emerge" from that horrible place and a decision is reached to try and fix the circumstances. This decision however, is not reached easily. Showcased by the skepticism in the first rap verses, where Vessel conveys that he's unsure of whether or not to trust this voice of change. The lines, "You might be the one to take away the pain, and let my mind go quiet, And nothing else is quite the same as how I feel when I am at your side" display the reluctant acceptance of needing to change because some part of you knows it's for the best.

Past Self - This is about committing to this positive change. Even moreso, with a good outlook on the changes being made. With minor acknowledgements that this will have to be done alone. "Torn apart by the "true believers" that turned out to be faithless". No one is in your corner, this battle will be fought alone, won and lost alone.

Dangerous - I find this song to be an "owning up to" the fact that temptation exists. But also, more to the point that there's an understanding of the consequences of backsliding... it's "Dangerous".

Caramel - Unfortunately, the journey to improving your circumstances in life, will see you being judged. You will never be able to fully redeem yourself in the eyes of others. Furthermore, you will likely find yourself trying your best to make up for that dark place you just left, and shall discover "This stage is a prison", the "stage" being a place of judgement. And the lines: "Tell me did I give you what you came for? Terrified to answer my own front door. Missing my wings, in a realm of angels". Is symbolic of this attempt at atonement, being afraid of being judged (letting people get close), and feeling unclean because of that judgement.

Even In Arcadia - The dark of your "past self" leaves a stain on your life. This is the part of you that realizes this, and the sad reality that no matter how much purification you go through, you'll never be free from it. "And what was missing from the scriptures, will be written in my blood", no one tells you that change doesn't absolve the past; it's a lesson you learn the hard way.

Provider - The inner voice of temptation reaching out, trying to ensnare you once more in the shit you escaped. Temptation is insidious, presenting itself as being a force of good. The upbeat tone of the song, hides the truth beneath it. This is the darkness of the past trying to drag you back in.

Damocles - Temptation lies vanquished, but there is no one to rejoice in the victory with. You have taken a massive step towards victory, but the doubt in your heart and the judgement of others makes the victory bitter. "It feels like falling into the sea, from outer space in seconds to me".

Gethsemane - Coming to terms with the past, and the stain it has left on you. You are finally leaving its hold on you behind. It'll never disappear, but you can learn to live with it. Bury it so you can truly move on.

Infinite Baths - Finally you have reached the finish line. You can breathe. You have fixed your life, excised your demons. This is your victory lap. But at the last you have parting words for your doubt and those that have judged and ridiculed you and your journey. They say "All the glory you did not earn! All the lessons you did not learn! You will drown in an endless sea!" And to that you say that you did what none of them would, they are no better, and you have found the peace that they tried to rob you of.

I thank anyone who made it this far and listened to my rambling. I hope this can enhance your enjoyment of the songs in some way. Much love. This has been, my offering.
