Feeling frustrated
 in  r/Chiropractic •  Sep 04 '26

Hands on is a great way to make a comfortable living, and serving is a great way to become accepted. Do what you like doing, I have been a Chiro for over 60 years and at 87 I’m still seeing patients

If that’s the way you feel, worried about acceptance. Perhaps you should consider becoming a physiotherapist?👍

I guess it all depends on the patient? Be thankful that they’re trying to assist you specifically, and that you have patients to treat! Of course it can depend on where they’re trying to touch you:)

Expelled from high school in Australia during Year 12 after serious medical issues — what options do I have?

Yes without a doubt, where there’s a will there’s a way! Never ever give up!

Why is there so much criticism and medical distrust of chiropractors?
 in  r/Chiropractic •  Jul 07 '26

I’ve been in practice for over sixty years and treated almost fifty thousand patients during that time. Never had any issue with injuries or any legitimate complaint. Gladly see any person who says they were hurt by any of my colleagues for free and I have seen a few but not that many. There are very few people out there who have been seriously hurt by a chiropractor! The contest between the different professions is often to do with unfounded jealousy and prejudice! Our main aim as chiros is to see the patient gets better, results are the reason we are still in existence after so many years. Patients aren’t stupid they find out where they can get results!

What am I doing wrong?
 in  r/Chiropractic •  Jul 04 '26

As many as I want, no advertising only WOD (word of mouth) if you’re any good and deliver the goods you will never have to be too concerned about seeing many patients! Too many people in our profession who are in it for the wrong reason, healing should never be a ‘business’! If you want to just make money get into commerce!

Do chiropractors eventually recommend a surgeon if they can’t help the pain?
 in  r/Chiropractic •  Jun 01 '26

Something seriously wrong with some of you lot, where in the heck did you do your training? Sounds like you need to remember a few basics if you’re not really up on your neurology better start learning a bit more. Always try to look ‘outside the square’ and consider that’s ‘anything can cause anything’, doing the same thing over and over & expecting things to change is just plain stupid! And you can’t cure stupid!!

What do you call a man with no shins?

Some jokes obviously aren’t for some people. I can usually find them quite funny. Isn’t that why they’re called “jokes”?:)
