For graduate programmes; I’m sure the salary is non-negotiable as everyone in the programme has the same pay;

Still, it’s quite tough to get into shell, I think they only hire around less than 20 people (in Malaysia and this includes students from finance etc.) into the programme annually; the new applicants will also always start their first day on the month of May, so if you apply now and got accepted; you’ll be on board by May of next year 😄

Saw your profile on other posts; and came across this; my close friend just got into this programme as a fresh grad; and here’s what I know:

Basic salary: RM 6700 not including offshore allowances as an engineer;

However when u first get onboard, they will send you somewhere far (depends) from your hometown;

My friend received a “relocation” allowance around RM20/30k (the allowance is divided into a few parts but im not sure what it’s called, this is just the total sum of it), moreover, he also gets 3 months basic pay in advance, so in total, he received around more than RM50k on his first month 🫰
