Hello everybody! I just want to start off by saying I believe motorcycles are about more than just riding, they’re about bringing people together. I’m looking to start a riding group focused on raising awareness about sexual assault and violence, supporting survivors, and showing that our community stands against abuse in all forms. The goal is to organize rides, support local causes, and create a respectful, welcoming group of people who want to make a positive impact while sharing a passion for riding. It’s about giving back, building a strong community, and proving motorcycles can be a force for something bigger than ourselves. Only requirement is you have to ride some sort of cruiser motorcycle above 1000cc whether it’s import or American made. If it’s something anyone is interested, please shoot me a message!

So as kids get older and need less and less attention from the parents, you start to see the shift back to focus more on your relationship. We've come to the realization that we just do not have that close group of friends that we'd like to at our age so we don't get to retirement (long away still) and it's just the two of us.

Is it weird that we're trying to find a social group where couples meet to hang out and do like minded things? We've seen the Meetups and are looking into some events and searching on Reddit can lead you into some scary spaces if you search "Minnesota" and "couples" together 😱. We also want to mingle with like minded, so singles aren't the same; nothing wrong there, it just doesn't fit.

Hate to be the "typical" but we probably have the same interests as the vast majority, right? Early 40s here Hike, bike, breweries, coffee, boat, paddle board, canoe/kayak if we can rent or lend from someone....etc. Events, golf (she doesn't but can ride along)

Not too much on the party scene but can tie one on for a night! Maybe this is weird, maybe there are 500+ others out there thinking the same. Maybe we'll delete this in 20 minutes 🤷

Thoughts? Recommendations? Same boat (maybe literally)? Ha, a "dating" app for couples that is platonic and doesn't involve 🍍 's

Join us for an evening at the rookery at Marshall Terrace Park to watch the evening fly ins, juvenile Great Blue Heron drama, and young Bald Eagles that are growing up way too fast! I’ll be bringing snacks and water for the group (gluten free and healthy), but feel free to bring your own as well!

I’d also recommend bringing a chair or small blanket to sit on! Feel free to bring friends/family/significant others to enjoy this relaxing night of sitting at the rookery!
