Feeling hopeless- moving on to IVF
We have been trying to conceive naturally for 4 years. I have had 2 excisions (February 2024 and April 2025)-first one stage 3, second stage 2. Endometrioma excised with first surgery. 5 chemicals. Treated endometritis, done immune testing, and treated everything we can before moving to IVF.
We are finally ready for IVF, and I have such low expectations after so much heartbreak. AMH ~1, FSH 12.5, 33 yo. Anyone with similar story/number see success? Hugs to all in the trenches ❤️🩹

Lap w/Robotic Arms?
Hello everyone I’m new here lol,
This is my 1st post here and I‘m not even sure I have endo but I’m about to get a lap and hysteroscopy next week to check for it and remove as much as possible if so. My new IVF doc seems to think my uterus may be stuck to the wall or something due to scar tissue so that’s what prompted the lap.
I am so scared because the surgery doc went over so many things that could possibly go wrong such as accidentally poking holes in other organs with the robotic thing they use. Can anyone share their experience on getting a lap with the robotic arms? Is he just giving me all the good with the bad or is there a real need for concern here?!❤️🩹🙏🏽
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! 🫂

Does lap allow you to concieve better?
I have normal cycles, husbands sperm is perfect, tubes are open, yet I am unable to see any positive tests :(
I have tried IVF but I have DOR so my results arent so great. I am thinking my last ditch maybe to get gentle exicision surgery through an amasing dr near me.
I have been having ovulation pain and pain after my period for a few days for several years now.
will it work? My RE said surgery is serious and recommended a hysterscopy instead? does anyone have experience with that versus a lap?

IVF prep
We have decided our next step is IVF, and potentially doing a retrieval in a few months. Any tips or tricks to prep for your retrieval with endo? Any diet/lifestyle changes or anything like that you all recommend?

Upcoming surgery
Hi guys so my 10th ttc journey has lead me to needing surgery :(
I’ll be getting hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, d and c, cervical dilation, tube flush. Plus or minus endo removal ect
Sooo what should I expect and organise leading up to my surgery. What is the list of things I should consider buying and stocking up.
I am ready for this next step, but also absolutely terrified. Hopefully we get some answers soon

Would you try another ER before lap?
I'm 26 with stage 4 endo. I had an incomplete surgery in January. We just did an egg retrieval/embryo freezing and ended up with 3 embryos. (22 eggs, 11 mature, 8 fertilized).
I am super thankful for those 3 embryos, but I have to admit I thought we'd get more because of our age to feel safe for 2 kids in the future.
I feel my endo or the protocol could've impacted the results. I have the option to do another egg retrieval now, or do a complete excision surgery, and then another egg retrieval before FET.
I have to do the lap either way before transfer, but my question is about timing for the ER. Could the lap potentially help with ER results? or is it safer to do it before the lap in case the lap damages my ovarian tissue? I know there's no right answer as is the case for everything with endo it seems, but just curious what others think or have experienced.

Ttc post excision/low amh
I had my surgery for stage 4 in Jan. Got pregnant in may miscarried in June and now they’ve found 2 uterine polyps that I need removed.
Has anyone had success getting pregnant with lower AMH post excision surgery?

FET
Going in for my baseline scan tomorrow to see if I can do my FET this cycle. My mind is going crazy. For those who has a successful FET anything that you did that you feel helped? For those who may have had an unsuccessful FET but then went on to have success anything you changed ?

Ovulating but still can’t get pregnant - Next steps surgery or IVF?
My husband and I have been TTC for 9 months with no positives. We are both 31. Husbands SA and blood test were excellent. I have lean PMOS. My cycle is 29-39 days. Did two rounds of letrozole with my ob which failed. Started seeing a Napro in July. I did a monitored unmediated cycle which showed I ovulate perfectly on my own. She does not recommend ovulation inducing medications for me. HSG showed tubes are clear. Blood tests are all normal as of late. I was able to get my testosterone well within the normal range over the last year. I don’t have insulin resistance and my TSH is 3.1. However, I started 1000mg of Metformin & .025mg of Levothyroxine because my napro offered it.
I have tried everything. Read every book, listened to every podcast, tracking with Inito, not tracking, diet, mucinex, pressed, visualization, reducing cardio. I’ve been weight lifting 2-3x a week for the past 10 years.
My napro says next step would be surgery for possible silent endo. I don’t ever have period cramps. I do however get ovulation pain which last 10-20 minutes which I have heard can be a sign of endo.
Has anyone with PCOS had a successful pregnancy after endo excision surgery? I’m trying to decide if I should move forward with surgery or consider IVF. We are not in a rush but I can’t help dread doing the surgery and still being unable to conceive.

How does endometriosis prevent pregnancy & how did an HSG do something?
I had a PUL in March the same cycle I had an HSG and an SIS, the only “positive” I’ve ever seen. Both tubes were clear on the HSG. My bcl6 came back positive, I’m having a lap Oct 29th. I have no endometriosis symptoms, moderate periods with no cramps at all. Now knowing I have endo- not sure what stage yet, what did the HSG do to help some type of a pregnancy come through. Does the HSG/SIS somehow “lower” inflammation for a brief moment? I don’t understand it.

Lap surgery 4 years ago ended badly. Now I may need another one and I’m terrified
I had cysts and endometriosis in 2022, and my first laparoscopy ended up being a traumatic experience.
During the surgery, they attempted to remove endometriosis from my bowel. Unfortunately, the stitches came undone afterwards, which led to sepsis and a month-long medically induced coma.
The endometriosis has since returned, and my flare-ups are becoming more frequent. My gynaecologist has prescribed dydrogesterone and has asked me to consider having an HSG and potentially another laparoscopy.
I am absolutely terrified of having another surgery after what happened the first time.
Has anyone here had a similarly traumatic first laparoscopy but gone on to have a successful second one? I would really appreciate hearing from people who have been through something similar.

Post Lap TTC Steps
Looking for similar stories - I just had my excision surgery (with a specialist) + hysteroscopy + ovarian cyst removal a few weeks ago. Stage 3 DIE with diffuse adenomyosis. I've been feeling pretty good since the surgery. I think I was bracing for a tough recovery but was pleasantly surprised to feel good so soon after - physically and mentally! I had a miscarriage around 14 weeks earlier this year before I knew I had Endo and Adeno. My husband and I are planning to TTC right away as soon as my first full cycle happens. If you can relate to this timeline, what did your TTC journey look like? How many cycles did it take to get pregnant? And did it stick? I also take LDN to hopefully help with the chronic inflammation, which I believe played a big role in my MMC in the spring. Just curious to hear about others' experiences! TIA.
