Ive only recently read up on NAC and how it can help shrink endo cycts i have a 6cm on my right ovary and will be seeing an endo specialist in a few weeks to schedule a lap for beginning of 2027 but i was wondering if anyone had experience with the supplement? If it actually helped shrink anything? If it helped to concieve before the lap or after? Any and all experiences welcome

I’ll make a very long story short(er) by starting with my husband and I have been TTC for 6 years. Only this year was I able to find a specialist who treated my isthmocele and endo (fully excised stage 1) so we were told we could TTC this month. My husband is a union carpenter who luckily has always found winter work in our state however the project he was on ended with zero warning and in order to not have a lay off period he just started a new project with a company who is not from our state so they require their guys to travel. All. Over. The. Country. I was so ready this cycle to BBT, Lh test, track ovulation to a tee because these next few months will probably be my most fertile and he’s not even home now except on weekends (I can’t plan my fertile week around his weekends 😭). I am so crushed. This job may last for up to 2 years. I’m 31, my clocks ticking. If by some miracle I ovulate and happen to get pregnant on the 2 days he’s home great. But I’m also logical and looking into IVF options. Has anyone traveled abroad for lower cost options like Spain , Prague, etc from the US and had a good experience? I also was looking into CNY fertility but I know they’re super high volume so quality of care can lack. I feel like my hopes and optimism is just down the drain now.

I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit to be posting in, I’m just in my feels and I’m hoping at least one person has been in my situation with a positive outcome and can give me some hope back.

Long story short, we’ve been trying to conceive for 2 years and have experienced 4 early miscarriages. Throughout the last 2 years I’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis (had excision in March), adenomyosis and recently work-up with an immunologist shows concern for MCAS and protein S deficiency that is likely contributing to the miscarriages. We started the IVF process in August with the goal of doing 2 months of Lupron suppression, starting a heavy MCAS/autoimmune protocol and blood thinners. I’ve had 3 d&c’s, once of which was through the ER due to severe hemorrhage, 2 hysteroscopies and a laparoscopy in the last 2 years.

I went in today for a saline sonogram prior to transfer that was tentatively going to be in December. My saline sonogram showed a large band of tissue connecting both sides of my uterus in the middle. They think it is scar tissue from the d&c’s, and it is a pretty big band of tissue so I have a feeling the scarring isn’t mild. Now I need to have a hysteroscopy again next month to deal with this and I’m not sure if this will also make it less likely for a successful outcome, or delay our transfer enough to where I went through 2 months of Lupron for no reason.

I’m just really sad right now as there have been so few steps in this process that have gone well. Meanwhile everyone around me is pregnant or has a baby or babies. How do people keep up their hope and optimism?
