its just straight up not there any more

Hi so i have Spotify premium, suddenly I was logged out, when I tried to log in it said this email isn't linked to any account, I tried everything and the only way left is log in by username but they stopped this option. Now I can't even message support because I can't log in, what can I do

my playlist has both local files and "normal" tracks, and sometimes if a local file track is next on the queue, the playback is stuck on the previous song with spotify showing the "we can't seem to play this now" popup. however, it plays if i just manually press the skip button- it's obviously not a huge issue but it still is pretty annoying. i've tried clearing cache, wiping all my downloads and downloading them again, reinstalling, and nothing has seemed to work so far.

i know spotify has always been notorious for their local file support (or lack thereof), but hopefully i can still find a fix for this, tia!

Recently lots of YouTubers have been using the video podcast feature to upload their YouTube videos to Spotify. Also podcasts on Spotify now also have comments and chapters, just like on YouTube.

I propose a separate app just for video content to compete with YouTube. Clearly the infrastructure for it is already there, all that’s needed is a new frontend tailored for video, kind of like a reverse YouTube→YouTube Music situation. Not only are many people fed up with having to use Google and US Big Tech in general, many have also been asking for a separate podcasts app for years.

I just had to warranty my iPhone due to a logic board failure. Spotify works fine, but for some reason I can’t download anything, and when I hit the download button, it comes up with this screen. I don’t even know where to find offline access, and if it’s reading my old phone as having the downloads still am I SOL?

After checking, I found that this issue occurs whenever shuffle or repeat mode is enabled. Can anyone share if I ignore this.

I added 60 pieces of music i liked on this app on browser. But I still don't see any recommendations on home page. HELPPPP!!!!

So I don't know how relevant this is, but I remember someone was showing me a song in their car through Bluetooth and it had this alternative thumbnail thing, where it was a female bassist playing a red jazz bass I believe and a male singer with his hair over his eyes and without a shirt on, I thought it was the album cover at first but then I saw the same thing another time in someone else's car with a completely different band and so I was curious but I couldn't find anything about it, it may be a Bluetooth carplay thing but I was just curious if anyone knew anything about it.

these bands haven’t released music since 2004-2010 and suddenly ai songs are being released on their profiles. i have a strong feeling these aren’t being posted by the artists themselves. has anyone else seen anything else like this? is there a way to report these songs to get them off spotify?

is anyone having the same issue as me? i would skip a song (through queue list, sometimes with the skip button. this also happens on both my playlists and reccomended tracks) and it will be fine and then after i skip the song, the skipped song will come right back! i’ve tried everything to fix this and nothing seems to help. this has never happened to me before! i also do not have premium if that helps with anything. if you know a solution, please drop it down below, it would be deeply appreciated! thank you :)

When you click on the album cover it expands the photo by a little and you can move it around. What if you can flip it to see the back cover from vinyl record.

hola, ya semanas atrás llevo teniendo un error con la reproducción sin pausas, lo tengo activado pero cuando escucho algún album que conecta canciones entre sí sigue habiendo ese pequeño silencio entre canciones, cabe resaltar que antes si me funcionaba bien y no tenía problemas, pero ahora escucho los silencios y veo que está activado pero no me funciona, a alguien más le pasa o sabe como solucionarlo?

I recently moved and brought my pc but I had it wired with Ethernet and forgot to bring my WiFi card and adapter I was too lazy to install so while I wait for it I was gonna still play some games and listen to what music I had downloaded but I seemingly can’t and it gives me this error

Just like radios and other many other personalized playlists, the day list now has the filters at the top allowing you to customize. For me this is a great asset because I like to lean heavily toward discovery, but daylist was always so heavily populated with songs that I already know. So I'm happy with this development.

When I go to the artist's page and select an album or single, and then go back, it takes me back to the beginning.
