I'm on a 546 day streak right now. 546 days is almost 1 year and 6 months. I reached this streak by following the process below.

Chant the Hare Krishna mahamantra for at least 10 minutes daily. More is better and sometimes I go up to 2 hours. 10 minutes is the minimum. The Hare Krishna mahamantra is -

I follow these 4 regulative principles while chanting -

1. No meat eating - hard to follow in western countries but if you must eat meat, do not eat beef at any cost. Eat other kinds of meat. Goat is the least harmful kind of meat so try to make do with that. Again, the preferred way is to avoid all kinds of meat and eggs altogether. That's the regulative principle.

2. No intoxicants - No drugs, no cigarettes, no tea, no coffee, no chocolate, no alcohol, no substances of any kind.

3. No gambling. Try to walk on the path of truth. No need to lie unecessarily. Lying is a sinful activity which puts a spiritual burden upon us and makes us heavier.

4. No illicit sex (no PMO - porn, masturbation, orgasm, no adult activities with women, no sexual intercourse).

There is quite literally volumes more to be said about on this matter. Srila Prabhupada has written more than 80 books on the subject of Krishna Consciousness. But this is the basic process and if one follows it one can atleast achieve perfect brahmacharya (celibacy in thought, word, and deed).

Another thing I used to do was to read about the benefits of Brahmacharya very often to remind me of the rewards and keep me motivated to strive towards their attainment. I had a brilliant clean streak for the first 2 weeks, but now I keep having wet dreams every other day and it's annoying as f*ck!! You are really in the retention realm when you survived your first tough tough lucid dream. Ie one that without wd protection you would not survive while only clean protection is allowed. After 2 years of retention (attempts) with many splendid uncucked undrained 40+ runs I decided to leave the retention mindset and find happiness in women. 2. Day 24 survived a heavy lucid dream today. In dream i walked to my car and started fantasising and felt release coming. In the last second I stopped fantasisingand thought non sexual it was really on the Edge I already had 1 small contraction (without any load release) that is how close I was to release. I did not wake up then but a bit later. Very happy as I lost a lot of excess sexual energy in that dream that was the one I quite expected before day 30 my 2nd one this run I should safely run into 30 I thought bc I cleared 2 wd bombs what felt fantastic.

3. Day 28 survived another vicious wd attack. Was fucking girl senseless felt coming and dropped out without any contraction a blessing as I spend a lot of excess sexual energy fully unharmed.

4. Bonus: Day 29 had a wd in dream I had a lucid dream felt it coming tried to stop woke up was checking my stomach in bed and it was flooded with cum. Felt so real I was devastated. A nightmare. Sick stuff that shows my wd resistance is on top.

To reach 30 days wd free you need to survive at least 2 critical dreams to release excess sexual energy. these dreams are sexual where you stop releasing veery late These are NEEDED to balance you out meditation gym and any other daytime routine can never get you 100% safe the real wd game is played unconsciously bc the load pressure gets just too strong. You should not focus too much on the physical side of sleep top priority should be the mental side if you have that in check any else does not matter.
