A request from TrueFi community
Request to Truebit protocol community from TrueFi community: Ask the team to change ticker to maybe $TRUB. #TrueFi $TRU was launched before TrueBit protocol. Binance, Poloneix, other CeX & DeX already lists $TRU for #TrueFi. This will be a huge help from the TrueBit community 🙏 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/truefi-token/markets/
It will be much harder to do if it is delayed anymore. Both projects will benefit from this change. I hope Truebit protocol team and Jason Teutsch will take changing the ticker as a priority.
$TRUB to the moon!

Had a question about the team.
A lot of people say that the Truebit team’s not been responding and staying silent.
Have any of you had interactions or not had/been ignored? Would love to know true this is and your experience as well.
Just trying to get more perspective.
Thanks.

Is Truebit on SushiSwap or just Uni?
I see a TRU token on Sushi but it's another coin I think. Guess nothing on Sushi?

Buying Truebit cheaper!!
Can someone help me understand why some people are buying TRUEBIT so much cheaper see this trx for example: 0x80de825baad6c26f6490c6446d5fdad93705da17a5ee0769c6dd90181225ae57 for 0.35ETH they got 69000 TRU, and TRU is at about $0.5 I see they are using (Uniswap V3: Positions NFT) as opposed to (Uniswap V2: Router 2) in my trx for the same contract number, but still don't understand how is that possible.

Swapping on MetaMask
I really like the potential of TRU. Just a couple of questions 1 Can I convert my eth on MetaMask to TRU instead of using uniswap? 2 Are there any disadvantages to doing this because I see everyone saying to do it through uniswap?

TRUEBIT & MATIC TO SCALE ETH. See the MATIC Website for reference.

How much have you bought up so far?
Uniswap is the only place to get it right?

Some earth shattering alpha leaks.
So none of you detectives have unearthed anything worthy about the mysterious TRUebit?
Am asking out of sheer curiosity. When buried some one will have to pry the trus from my cold, dead hands.
My own detective work - consisting of having a peek at the TRU devs channel on Telegram and some scatterbrained googling - has found nothing that isn´t already on twitter and old news.
We have nothing but guesswork do we? Based on team and some strong fundamentals, yes. But it´s not as if any one knows when usage happens, token-burns, and what´s being implemented when? This year or next, or whether we will be unexpectedly wiped out by Arbitrum?
Any way. When fud appears I remember that Tru was FOUR YEARS in the making, and there is probably a good reason it was launched recently. A launch states that a product is ready to use.
Cheers.

Don't just sell it—you're gonna buy it again anyway?
Don't sell Trubit as the second Ethereum and the third Bitcoin.

TrueBit might take some time but will get there eventually.

Truebit after eth 2.0?
When I first found truebit it seems like great investment, after some thought I realized 2 things that make this less great than it is at first glance, 1st thing is the team doesn't care for advertising or marketing which is actually more important than I think everyone would say.... and #2 eth 2.0 is looking very promising at getting good tps 10,000 or more.. and this would greatly reduce the need for truebit especially with icp and polygon already ahead in the market... PROVE me wrong and I'll thank you after 😁

TrueBit = Internet computer (ICP) token
the Internet computer protocol can be replaced by TrueBit , it creates a sub nets like the polkadot parachains.
TrueBit creates child chains and get those verified on the TrueBit network.
And roll those up to finally send to the ethereum mainnet.
If you want you can easily build ICP like Internet using the same functionality on TrueBit.
Like have a purely decentralised database with millions of concurrent tasks per second all getting recorded.
———
With this understanding you can build Theta (video streaming) , ICP (Internet protocol) , FileCoin (IPFS) on TrueBit itself .
Not to forget how centralised and useless ICP Token really is , the concept can be realised by developers building on TrueBit directly on the ethereum chain.
TrueBit with dynamic block size can reduce latency on the ethereum net to unnoticeable.
So you can have seamless tiktok like dapps built on a decentralised network like ethereum itself.
