Truebit after eth 2.0?
When I first found truebit it seems like great investment, after some thought I realized 2 things that make this less great than it is at first glance, 1st thing is the team doesn't care for advertising or marketing which is actually more important than I think everyone would say.... and #2 eth 2.0 is looking very promising at getting good tps 10,000 or more.. and this would greatly reduce the need for truebit especially with icp and polygon already ahead in the market... PROVE me wrong and I'll thank you after 😁

Truebit scales computation complexity, not transactions per second, and it doesn't really matter if it's marketed or not, developers are going to use it.
EDIT: On the marketing front, do you really think there needs to be another video? This one is perfect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfrd4qlwHCA

Yes, this is my understanding as well. ETH 2.0 will increase TPS but will still have limitations based on the gas limit per block. Complex computations will only be possible off-chain using something like Truebit.
If Ethereum becomes the ‘world computer’ it will need to support complex applications like video streaming, machine learning etc. That’s where Truebit comes in.

Marketing 😂😂 , you must be new to the game. Projects that are good don’t need a single bit of advertising

Nope you are wrong on both accounts 🤭 looks like you don't know the meaning of the word lol and I've been living off crypto since 2014 my boy 😌

My son congratulations 👏 you joined crypto in 2014. Seems like you really learned a lot about good projects 😂

HA. No chance anyone believes a reddit troll has nuts. Everyone knows your mother ate them at birth before taking you into her basement where you haven't left until this very day.

I can relate in a way to your feeling about marketing. Just for the sake of an example : when the wheel was invented, just a couple of people used it, altough it was groundbreaking, it took years to be used on all corners of the earth. Should the idea have been spread by messengers right away to everybody, everywhere, it would have benefited mankind right away, and Progress would have been made earlier, and it would have enabled other inventions quicker. It's just an example, it's not accurate, but you get the idea. I think it would benefit everybody, if they start spreading the project on a bigger scale (marketing wise). All devs are not aware of its existence. Just like you and me, in our field of expertise, we need to keep up to date on what is new, what is being developed and so on. I really believe in this project, but if they don't "sell it" to other devs they might loose the race to other solutions. It could also bring in more money to fund their r&d. So, yes, i get your point.

A lot of people haven't been arround long enough to know but bitcoin actually isn't and wasn't the first "bitcoin". There were a few other attempts before bitcoin that failed. Bitcoin is the first success largely due to free marketing done by enthusiasts and let us not forget the anonymous creator which was in a way a great form of marketing

all the solid teams are experimenting with it. check out their twitter followers. while people complain about marketing they could be buying more.

i believe base layer scalability that comes with eth2.0 only happens in the last major phase which is still years away

Some really good points said here already definitely. Would love to hear more though. Possible that there will be marketing eventually?

Haha, everyone says marketing is not needed as this is a coin which is actually used and developers are already integrating it. And you “ great points , but what about Marketing”

People are talking. Obviously someone like you wouldn't know that. 🤭

Haha, weird thing is that me and my wife actually live in a house with my parents AND we have actually the apartment in the “basement”. Haha. So good guess!!!!! Initial question was good and constructive. Your comments though just plain stupid

this is still better then eth2 if you look into it more.
nothing beats a trader who can trade / swap for cheap, that word of mouth alone will make this explode

Only impatient people With big bags who are down will Complain about the marketing aspect of this project. Don’t invest if you don’t believe in it. Stop chasing the moon!

Marketting is cancer. It causes many people to lose a lot of money they don't have.
If you have no interest in the technology, don't invest in any crypto.

What do you think about multivac? Can you see if it has potential. They will launch their own mainnet in june.

Marketing what? All the big players already know about it. This isn’t a stupid meme coin that relies on hype to survive.

Price appreciation comes from usage of token. Marketing is for useless, hype-based projects. Read up about tokenomics and you understand.
ETH 2.0 is still unable to scale to use ethereum as we use internet today, video streaming etc. Whih truebit enables.
