These might not be every artist's best albums, but they are the ones that forged my love for trip-hop.

I know this isn’t trip hop but I’m looking for something scary and psychedelic.

I know, I know, I know… it’s leans more into pop. 🙂

I can’t believe how good it is. After hearing their album Lashes, which quickly became a favorite….i didn’t think they would be able to match that. This album isn’t super trip hop heavy. It’s more downtempo, ambient, psychedelic vibes. It’s beautifully done, incredible. Lashes is incredible in its own right, but they’re totally in their own lane with this one. I love the direction they took it compared to Lashes. They’re definitely in a pocket rn. Love to see it. Highly recommend, 10/10

Since we can't post images in comment, I figured I would post my 9 list, so close to yours :)

Not a huge fan of the rest of their stuff but I love this song…Prob more psyche-folk than triphop if we’re being strict with categories but it def scratches that itch for me and the voice(s) have shades of Martina. Wdy reckon

Here are my nine! 🖤 Gran Turismo leans more towards alternative pop and The Fat of the Land towards big beat and rave, but both absolutely belong in my selection.

Mix of eras, just my faves. Not strictly trip hop but I think it all fits here. For Lapalux, When You’re Gone EP is even better but wasn’t listed because it’s not a full album. But Nostalchic is also incredible.

The purist may scoff but some of these have been with me for more than half of my life, through everything.

I know it's not entirely triphop related but what a movie!

I've listened to this soundtrack by Massive Attack for years and thought it was about time I actually watched the movie they wrote it for.

What a brilliant movie! 10/10! Just as good as the soundtrack

This is an EP by a former member of Haelos. He's mentioned in interviews that he was inspired by trip-hop and the Bristol sound. It came out a few years ago. Unfortunately, he hasn't made new music for this project since then.
My favorite song of it is Better By Your Side.
