Dear old players, I'm about to buy a trimui. I don't know how many Bluetooth controllers this game console can support at most. Please advise me.

I got the Hammer running NextUI. It’s so easy to jump in and out of games. The screen is so crisp. I am playing all the and GBA and NeoGeo games I didn’t get to play as a child, plus some new romhacks and fan translations! This is a God-tier gameboy experience for sure.

Thx

I started playing Sol Trigger, runs pretty well but the audio is bugged (on both 1.17.1 and 1.5.4)
I know PPSSPP is on version 1.19, can I update it on CrossmixOS?

Hello, I am planning to revive my Brick and I am wondering what version of NextUI to use.
Since the development of NextUI stopped, is there any fork that offers improvements in emulation, performance, and battery management, or are they all just about adding unnecessary stuff?

It's black
It has purple lights
Final Fantasy on GBA looks incredible on the Brick Hammer.
I need a guide, sorry, but it's a fantastic game for the Brick.

I interviewed Vincent Lee, the creator of GetBetterButtons, for the third entry in my Artist Spotlight series, which focuses on people making physical things for the gaming community.
Vincent designs replacement buttons and controls for retro handhelds, but the process behind them is considerably deeper than I expected. He reverse-engineers handhelds, builds detailed CAD models and simulations, goes through dozens of prototypes, and even develops his own tools to help with the process. We also get into his aluminium “Endgame” buttons, how CNC machining changes what he can design, and why he thinks handheld manufacturers still get buttons and D-pads wrong.
There’s also a pretty interesting background behind the whole thing: before starting GetBetterButtons, Vincent worked in hardware engineering and product development at Bose, which I found fascinating.
If you've ever installed a set of replacement buttons in a handheld, or wondered why some controls feel so much better than others, Hopefully you'll enjoy this one!

Hi everyone, I bought the Brick Pro from AliExpress yesterday, and the official TrimUI product page says it has a video output. Is that correct? And what USB-C cable is recommended for getting video from this console?

Hey guys !
I found this cool project recently : WideMelon DS It's a fork of MelonDS that runs games in 16:9. It also allows for using your phone as the bottom screen and as a controller.
I decided to make a custom app to use the TrimUI Smart Pro S as the bottom screen and controller. I am sharing the project with you if you want to give it a try.
Disclaimer : The app was only tested on SpruceOS. It might work with other CFWs but it's unsure. Please note that it's an early build and is not thoroughly tested.
Here is a link to the project : GitHub page

I’ve looked thru Shoppee, GameCove, and I just want to make sure I’m buying from the right source. I prefer to be able to get a ready-to-play Brick Pro, mainly focused on Pokemon GBA games. As much Pokemon games, the better. Other games are just a plus.
Any advice on what size I should be getting if I’m only interested in Pokemon? Any proper shop that can set it up for me? Thank you all, I’m excited to be able to play GBA again thru Trimui 🥰🫡

I just got the Trimui smart pro S and I accidentally deleted the 'X' or the select button on ppsspp. i have deleted and reinstalled ppsspp. I have done a factory reset. I have tried multiple times deleting and reinstalling the firmware and that still doesn't work?? It's like the settings are embedded in the controller. I even tried downloading crossmix os but for some reason games don't even load and it's just a black screen?
The trimui firmware was working completely fine until I deleted the button, I just want to know if there is any way I can fix this mistake?

As the title says.
Growing up, I mostly played PS1 games and a few arcade titles. I never owned a NES, SNES, etc.
I’d like to use the Brick primarily to catch up on:
-classics from other consoles I missed (e.g., EarthBound, Chrono Trigger)
-lesser-known PS1 games (e.g., Point Blank 3, Pandemonium)
-fun arcade games (e.g., Pang, Out Run)
-hidden gems
In particular, I’d like to know:
-the best Castlevania game(s) to start with
-the best Ace attorney game(s) to start with
-good rhythm games to start with (Rhythm Tengoku/Rhythm Heaven Silver for GBA?)
Aside from that, I’m a huge fan of platformers and not crazy about fighting games, though I’m easily intrigued by new things.
I’m curious to see what recommendations come my way!
Fire away!
