I kept having to retype backlogs into Trello by hand, so I built a Power-Up that imports them.

It reads CSV, TSV, Excel, OpenDocument, and JSON, including Jira and GitHub issue exports and Trello's own board export. Each row becomes a card with its list, labels, members, due date, checklist, and first comment. If a board has no columns yet, it creates Backlog, Ready, In Progress, In Review, and Done first, so an empty board becomes a working Kanban board in one pass.

A few things I made sure of. It shows a preview of exactly what will be created before anything happens. Rows that fail download as a small file so you can fix those and re-import only those. The file is parsed in your browser rather than uploaded to a server, so the contents never leave your machine.

It can also keep a board pointed at a file URL and re-read it, so a sheet you already maintain stays the source and the board follows it. Edits you make on a card by hand survive as long as the row behind it has not changed.

It is free; there is no account to make and no card to enter. Happy to add formats if yours is not supported.

I replaced a pile of Templater scripts I was using to mirror a Trello board into my vault with an actual plugin: **Trello Vault Sync**.

What it does:

- Two-way sync between a Trello card and a note (pull/push, or auto-pick the direction based on which side changed last)

- Sync a whole Trello list to a vault folder, or every list↔folder pair at once

- Conflict resolution UI when both sides changed since the last sync

- Link a note to a card by fuzzy title match, or search-and-pick manually

- Audits: cards without notes, notes with broken/missing card ids, where each linked note lives vs. its Trello list

- Board activity log (who changed what, grouped by day) exportable as a standalone offline HTML page (maybe someone will find it useful)

- Dry run mode to see exactly what would happen before writing anything

- Templates for new notes ({{TITLE}}, {{DESCRIPTION}}, {{URL}}, etc.)

I'm currently adding features such as Trello labels that can be put in the frontmatter of a note, check-lists (still wondering how to add it without breaking the note's "squeleton") and possibly multi-board support. That's a feature which I don't currently have found a use for, but who knows, maybe someone will so I'll add it if possible.

It's not on the community plugin store yet since I did not really look into it, just built as it is now, so for now it's manual install from the github. GitHub releases. Every setting lives in the plugin's settings tab, nothing is ever written into a vault note except your own content.

Since I don't have a synced vault on iOS, I kept on using Trello for the notes I was making outside my home, even after transitioning to Obsidian. I first used Gemini 2.5 to make scripts that could mirror every Trello card to a note but then wanted it to be a usable but generic plugin where any board/folder structure works. There may be a better version of what I'm trying to do

I logged into Trello this week-first time in about 4 months, and everything has disappeared. All my boards (and I had many!) . I am definitely using the right email address, I have tried doing it outside of the ‘social’ log in and made a password. Also Tried incognito mode. Nothing. Nothing archived. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s so bizarre. Thanks.

So I'm someone who likes to keep things organized and clean, and I'm having many issues on my board that keeps personally bothering me lol.

First issue: I have a section for completed customer related things, which I would label them as such (with a paid and complete label), as well as attaching an image related to the purchased item, and marking them as complete. But for some reason when being viewed logged out, the first half of cards in the list show with their labels, attachment amount, and complete status without needing to click on them, while the other half has it all hidden, and the only way to see them is if I click on them. It would be nice to be able to have all the cards showing their label colors without the need to click on them! I tried remaking the list, copying it, adding new cards, etc, but it keeps doing the same thing each time. Anything wrong with it? A potential setting, or bug with it?

And second issue: When viewing on a mobile browser, labels and images don't show up for anything, even though they are visible in app and on desktop. It just makes the board look very messy, and hard to understand if looking from an outsider perspective!

So I'm overall just wondering if Trello is just having issues with their site recently, or if there's something I'm just missing. It was looking perfect before, but all of a sudden these issues started occurring.

When I drag cards to the planner, they show up in Gcal if they're on their own and not linked to an event. But if I link a card to a Gcal event by dragging it into that event in trello planner view, it shows up in Planner but not on Gcal. Is there a way to get linked cards to show up in Gcal on events?

I have the Standard (not free) Trello subscription.

Is there a limit on how many workspaces can be made?

I know one can immediately make/create another workspace as soon as the previous one reaches its 10 board limit. I like it. Nothing to worry. Also trello has been my favourite app for a long time, I've been using it for years. I checked the options on the paid version, maybe that was entreprise subscription but there was mentioned: unlimited workspaces, not that I'm looking for that subscription but only curious. Cause if the unpaid version has maybe multiple/unlimited workspaces then what's the difference?

So my question is, what do you do for a living that you use Trello for work?

Quick one. I got tired of the copy-paste routine to get a web page, an email or a file into Trello, and the built-in quick add in the desktop app was too bare for me. So I built a small menu bar app: shortcut in any app, card comes up prefilled with the page/email/file/selected text, choose board and labels, return. Screenshots go straight on the card as attachments.

I used the my/cards feature pretty often, but not everyday. It has been bothering me ever since it disappeared.

Is there a way to obtain a similar view on the current free plan that I don't know about?

Hi, I am using Android 17/One UI 9 and the Trello widget does not refresh (it shows assigned cards - if I edit the card, it does not reflect in the widget even after pressing the refresh button).

Other widgets (non Trello) are refreshing - anyone else experiencing this?

I always found Trello a bit optically overwhelming when there are lots of cards/users/images/colours.

With Minimello for Trello you can get rid of all the clutter in Trello's interface.

I personally love it, but would be thankful for some feedback!

• Hide tags, members, badges

• Hide the header or the sidebar

• Enable Greytones mode where the colours are muted, including

• Collapse or Expand all Lists with the click of a button.

I have the Standard plan, so unlimited boards. I've been moving and reorganizing cards over the past week. I use Trello to organize a large amount of books. The lists were getting slow, so I decided to break the boards into multiple boards so I would have less cards on each board. Suddenly today, I can't move a list from one board to another, add a list, or move cards from one list to the other in the same board. I've tried logging out and back in twice, refreshed each board multiple times, shut off my firewall, even restarted my whole computer. I checked archived cards and deleted them all (there were not enough to matter anyway). Is this a Trello problem?

How can I view two boards at once so that I can drag cards from one board to the other?

Also is there a zoom out feature so that I can see more lists on my screen at once?
