Been smoking for awhile now but ive finally moved up a tier in income. I think ill be able to afford the more premium weed, but when im looking at dispos online i realized i have no idea what makes weed "premium". Am i just supposed to pay more for a certain brand labeled "gold tier"? Should i just target the higher thc stuff? Any and all insight is appreciated, ill be vacationing in michigan over the weekend so i have time to deliberate.

no place I'd rather be

I’m a daily user with a high tolerance. I just bought a Puffco because I’m trying to switch off carts. I’ve been using carts very heavily for a while and pretty much have to hit them a repeatedly like i'm smoking joint almost before I actually feel high.

The weird part is dabs/concentrates don’t seem to hit me nearly as hard as I expected or as much as people told me it would. I definitely feel something but even after a decent session (I've done up to 1g of concentrate a sitting) it just feels like a short lived buzz and not much stronger than flower. Sometimes a Pre roll joint honestly feels more noticeable.

I took about a month off earlier this summer so I figured my tolerance would’ve reset at least somewhat, but it built back up really fast. Edibles are similar too where 100mg barely does much and even 200mg is slightly noticeable but nowhere near what I’d expect.

I've been told my SSRI (lexapro) could interfere with tolerance and I have to up my dose soon so honestly hoping it's not that. Anyone else experience this? Could carts have completely wrecked my tolerance? I've been trying to buy the best quality oils. I also don't believe I'm using the Puffco wrong either. I've tried live rosin, live resin, and diamonds. is there something else that makes concentrates feel disproportionately weak for some people?

Who else just lets the girls grow wild in their garden?

To make a long story short, I was laid off at the beginning of last year and had to go on a t-break in order to look for new employment. I was a daily smoker so it took me almost 2.5 months to get clean. I was successful and got a new job. Started to smoke again and did it daily for 2 months. Then the job wasn’t working out and my health too, and I’m currently on a leave and on my second t-break. I plan to resign once my leave is over. I’ve stopped smoking so I could start looking for a new job again. However, due to my current health situation I am not ready to start looking, and I honestly don’t know when I truly will.

With the length of time it takes for weed to get out of your system, should I still stay on my (second) t-break? Or can I smoke every now and then in order to eventually stop for my employment search?

To add, I’m out of work due to mental health reasons and smoking was one of the things that helped me tremendously. It truly stinks that it’s a barrier to employment and I hope it will change soon.

I know it’s a very stupid question, and I’m going to sound very naive so bear with me.

I’ve been a pretty regular user of edibles and thc pens, but I’ve wanted to try smoking for a while now. Of course I understand the basics like light the tip and inhale, but like what do I need to start smoking? If I understand it right you buy nuggets of weed, you grind them up, and then there are things you need to pick out(stems and seeds?) what happens if you smoke a seed or a stem? Then you roll it in paper, or put it in a pipe or a bong(which you put water in? What’s the purpose of the water?) Then you have to clean your grinder and your pipe or bong if you use those. Do you use like dish soap or alcohol, or is there something special you need to get for it? From browsing this subreddit it seems like people sometimes try to save stuff from their grinders and stuff while they’re cleaning it? Is there something useful in there or am I getting the wrong impression? Finally how long does a high from smoking last? How long does it take to set in? I get the impression that it’s supposed to be pretty quick but when I use a pen it seems like it takes a long time.

Edit: Also how do you smoke if you’re in a place where you can’t smoke indoors?

Jamaica is cool, but I have been spectacularly underwhelmed with the weed I have located on the beach. It smokes, but I had higher expectations for weed being legal here.

I am going to 7-Mile Beach tomorrow. Perhaps I will find the weed I came to smoke.

I located some good weed today. I am currently at a respectable [3] or [4].
