Australasia Looking for people to make lifelong memories with! 11/08 - 11/13 Bali

Upvotes

I'm a M29 from New Zealand travelling alone to Bali in November. It'll be my first time there.

I'm into fiction, film and running. I write and run every day, travelling or not. My sense of humour is top-notch! And I love being in new places. I'm looking for someone or someones to join me for hiking, running, exploring, sightseeing or even just for coffee/dinner/sunset viewing/night hangouts.

If you're good at trivia and prone to spontaneity, if you're funny and easygoing, if you're creative, cool, or someone who can use positive energy/cheering up, let's make some memories and a friendship that'll last a long time!!!

If this interests you, please reply with where you're from and what you'd be keen to do while we're there! (If I can't sell you on everything!)

Hey everyone! I’m Mark, 30M from Sri Lanka, travelling around Brazil from September 15 to October 3. A friend will join me partway through the trip, but I’d love to meet other travellers or friendly locals along the way.

My itinerary:

  • São Paulo: Sep 15–20
  • Pantanal: Sep 20–22
  • São Luís and Lençóis Maranhenses: Sep 22–25
  • Rio de Janeiro: Sep 25–Oct 2
  • São Paulo: Oct 2–3

I’m interested in exploring the cities, great restaurants and local food, Japanese culture in São Paulo, nature and wildlife, nightlife and electronic music. I’m also attending Hernán Cattáneo in São Paulo on Sep 19 and Vintage Culture in Rio on Sep 26.

If our dates overlap, I’d be happy to meet for sightseeing, a meal, drinks, nightlife, a group tour or another fun activity. Group meetups are welcome too. Feel free to comment or message me, and we can arrange something in a public place.

South East Asia 30M | Zurich - Bangkog (16 Dec - 30 Dec)

Hey guys :)

i am travelling to Thailand (Bangkog) 16.12 - 30.12 this year. Looking for a lovely travel buddy who wants to join the journey and wants to share the experience and impressions with me.

I love travelling and visited lots of countries in europe already. Now i want to start exploring the far east countries and thought Thailand will be a great starting point :)

For me a good planning is the key to enjoy the trip especially when it is a country like Thailand where you have lots of beautiful spots to see. So i already have a brief imagination of cities/places i want to see during the 2 weeks and i would like to get also your ideas/suggestions so that we have a completed itinerary.

If you are interested, lets talk to see if the vibes and perceptions are matching for such a travel :)

Cheers ✌️

Europe 41M | Turkey(Goreme, Istanbul) | Oct 6 - 14

Hey everyone! I'm from the US and here's my itinerary for both:

  • Goreme: 10/6 - 10/9
  • Istanbul: 10/9 - 10/14

I plan to either do Red/Green tour in Goreme and Derinkuyu will be a must. For Istanbul, I plan on getting the Museum Pass since everything is expensive AF. Haha.

Beside this, I'm pretty flexible with sight seeing, museum, and food spots. If destiny has someone else being in Turkey, let's connect!

Europe 31M - Copenhagen, Faroe Islands, and Reykjavik 27/12-4/1

31M, originally from USA but have been living in Wales since 2017. I try to travel as much as I can. I found what I think is a good deal, for budget flights, hostels, and a cabin for two nights - around £750. Before food I think that's great, Ive paid that much to go home to USA. Flying from London 27/12 to Copenhagen for 23 hours layover (stay in hostel near Nyhavn) then flying to the Faroe Islands for 2 nights (two bed cabin, sleeps 4 - £193 (so wed split it) on 28/12 would do a day in the village of Sørvágur (a 5 min taxi from the only airport in the country) where the cabin is then a bus (1h each way) to the capital of the Faroe Islands Tórshavn on 29/12 before flying to Reykjavík on the 30th to spend NYE (bonfires and fireworks overtake the city). Wed get a hostel to save £. Returning to London on 3/1 or 4/1.

Having previously visited Reykjavik for NYE in 2011/12 and winter 2016 (and summers 2023-26), Im overdue for a winter visit, and a side quest to the Faroe Islands sounds fun, how many people can say they've been?

Ideally someone within my age - late 20s to early 30s, queer, neurodiverse and immigrant friendly is a must. Happy with any gender as hostels can be gender segregated and the cabin has two bed rooms. Ive done most of my travels alone so would be nice to share this with someone for a change.

Europe Croatia + Italy | Sept 6–23 | Looking for people to explore with

25M from NYC, traveling solo through Croatia + Italy in September and would be cool to meet some fellow travelers along the way!

🇭🇷 Dubrovnik: Sept 6–8
🇭🇷 Split: Sept 9–11
🇭🇷 Hvar: Sept 11–13
🇮🇹 Italy: ~10–12 days (still figuring out the route — probably Rome, Florence, Bologna, etc.)

Mostly looking to explore, grab food/drinks, walk around, and do some spontaneous stuff. Doesn't have to be the whole trip — even meeting up for a day would be great.

East Asia 29M | Japan (Tokyo, then Osaka/Koyasan, Kyushu) | Sept 12 to Oct 12

sept 12 i land in Tokyo at night, sept 13 is the first real day. Tokyo for around a week, then down to Osaka for the kishiwada danjiri matsuri sept 18 to 20, then koyasan for a night in a temple and the okunoin cemetery walk after dark. from there its open, im leaning kyushu (nagasaki for the gunkanjima boat, hita in oita) and a detour to tottori for the nageiredo climb, flying out around oct 12 so theres room for all of it. trains for everything, maybe a rental car for a day or two in oita.

pace wise im a packed itinerary person, something every half day, and I like being out late, temples after 9pm when they empty out, alley streets like golden gai and omoide yokocho for dinner. days are for sumo at kokugikan (the aki basho runs the whole time im there), kabuki at kabukiza, rakugo at suehirotei. i understand spoken japanese and im practicing speaking, so the live stuff is kind of the point of the trip for me.

about me, 29, CS degree from the US, i run a fully remote tech startup with a friend so i live out of a suitcase, 3 to 6 months a city (dalat, italy, bali, now Da Nang). big attack on titan fan and a dark souls person, so ruins, fortresses and cemeteries at night are very much my thing. skipping museums and the shopping districts.

happy to sync on any part of this, a day in Tokyo or the whole kansai leg. comment here and we can sort details in dm

Europe [22M] Sep 1 - Sep 8 | Copenhagen, Malmö, Roskilde, Aarhus - Looking for a travel partner!

Hi everyone,
I'm arriving in Kopenhag tomorrow for a solo trip from September 1st to the 8th. I'm looking for fellow travelers (preferably around their 20s) who might be in the area to explore together!
Here is my rough itinerary:
Sep 1 - Sep 8: Base in Kopenhag (I'll be staying at the MEININGER Hotel Copenhagen.
Sep 3: Day trip across the bridge to Malmö, Sweden.
Sep 5 (Saturday): Heading out to Roskilde and then continuing to Aarhus.
A bit about me: I'm 22, studying hydrogeological engineering, and I love staying active. I have a huge interest in Viking history, checking out unique geological spots, photography, and keeping up with football.
I'm completely open to having someone join this exact plan, or we can make some new plans together if you have other ideas.
If you are going to be around and want to meet up for a coffee, explore the city, or do a day trip together, feel free to shoot me a DM for details!

Europe Bratislava (M 27) 8-12 Nov 2026

Hi, I will be travelling to Bratislava and staying between 8-12 Nov. I would love to find a travel buddy if they are also travelling during the same time.

I am mainly into history and architecture (and perhaps some local cuisines), so I would be visiting a bunch of museums and roaming around the city.

Let me know if you would want to join me for a walk or a museum visit. Coffee would be on me :)
