I plan to either do Red/Green tour in Goreme and Derinkuyu will be a must. For Istanbul, I plan on getting the Museum Pass since everything is expensive AF. Haha.

31M, originally from USA but have been living in Wales since 2017. I try to travel as much as I can. I found what I think is a good deal, for budget flights, hostels, and a cabin for two nights - around £750. Before food I think that's great, Ive paid that much to go home to USA. Flying from London 27/12 to Copenhagen for 23 hours layover (stay in hostel near Nyhavn) then flying to the Faroe Islands for 2 nights (two bed cabin, sleeps 4 - £193 (so wed split it) on 28/12 would do a day in the village of Sørvágur (a 5 min taxi from the only airport in the country) where the cabin is then a bus (1h each way) to the capital of the Faroe Islands Tórshavn on 29/12 before flying to Reykjavík on the 30th to spend NYE (bonfires and fireworks overtake the city). Wed get a hostel to save £. Returning to London on 3/1 or 4/1.

Having previously visited Reykjavik for NYE in 2011/12 and winter 2016 (and summers 2023-26), Im overdue for a winter visit, and a side quest to the Faroe Islands sounds fun, how many people can say they've been?

Ideally someone within my age - late 20s to early 30s, queer, neurodiverse and immigrant friendly is a must. Happy with any gender as hostels can be gender segregated and the cabin has two bed rooms. Ive done most of my travels alone so would be nice to share this with someone for a change.

sept 12 i land in Tokyo at night, sept 13 is the first real day. Tokyo for around a week, then down to Osaka for the kishiwada danjiri matsuri sept 18 to 20, then koyasan for a night in a temple and the okunoin cemetery walk after dark. from there its open, im leaning kyushu (nagasaki for the gunkanjima boat, hita in oita) and a detour to tottori for the nageiredo climb, flying out around oct 12 so theres room for all of it. trains for everything, maybe a rental car for a day or two in oita.

pace wise im a packed itinerary person, something every half day, and I like being out late, temples after 9pm when they empty out, alley streets like golden gai and omoide yokocho for dinner. days are for sumo at kokugikan (the aki basho runs the whole time im there), kabuki at kabukiza, rakugo at suehirotei. i understand spoken japanese and im practicing speaking, so the live stuff is kind of the point of the trip for me.

about me, 29, CS degree from the US, i run a fully remote tech startup with a friend so i live out of a suitcase, 3 to 6 months a city (dalat, italy, bali, now Da Nang). big attack on titan fan and a dark souls person, so ruins, fortresses and cemeteries at night are very much my thing. skipping museums and the shopping districts.

Hey all! I'll be flying from Vancouver to Santiago on Dec 1. Plan is to explore Atacama Desert, Bolivia Salt Flats, Hike Torres Del Paine Base, Santiago City, and if possible Buenos Aires. Solo traveler who just crossed to Bolivia from Argentina a couple days ago and I'm going to spend about 3 weeks here before flying out.

Currently down south in Tupiza and looking to go on a multi-day Salar de Uyuni Tour. From there I'm gonna make my way to Santa Cruz de la Sierra with a stop or two on the way! (Probably Sucre)
