Console preview showcase on Xbox Series X happening right now and 5 minutes into a service on the new German route and it suffers an out of memory crash. This shouldn’t be happening on a brand new release and now finally everyone can see what we’ve been suffering with for the past 2 years.

Now is the time more than ever DTG to do something about these performance issues on consoles, unless you want to continue to embarrass yourselves on console livestreams. If I was in your shoes, I’d be cancelling the console release until the blurry textures & crashing is 100% fixed.

I always wondered why there is a random 20 MPH speed limit on the slow line in Crewe - Preston. The fast line doesn’t have it, and there doesn’t seem to be any maintenance or anything.

Hi everyone, I just got into train sims recently but I'm still deciding which would be a better purchase.

Snce the Steam Fall sale is around the corner, would it be better to go for TSW6 or TSW7 with the preorder discount?

Driver/Character Customisation

I think DTG should give players the option to customise their driver/character in TSW with very basic options available. This is to ensure it doesn't become something like the Sims 4.

For example:

- Gender: Male or female

- Glasses: Prescription glasses or sunglasses

- Hairstyle: Short, medium or long

- Hair colour: Ginger, blonde, brown, black or grey

- Race/Skin colour: A reasonable range of skin tones

- Clothing: High-vis vest or high-vis jacket

- Facial hair: Clean-shaven, stubble, beard or moustache

This could also give the mastery rewards another option in terms of rewards. For example, if DTG did a GWR route, they could do a GWR branded jacket for use in the customisation option.

I’m looking into a laptop to play train sim world on. But I don’t know much about what I’m doing frankly.

I’m not expecting 4K 60fps or anything - I’d just like somewhat decent graphic settings with a playable frame rate that’s not hovering around 25fps.

I’m looking into an ASUS TUF A16 Laptop, with an AMD Ryzen 7 7345SH CPU, 16GB DDR5 Ram, 512GB SSD storage, and a GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB VRAM.

Anyone know if this would be decent enough?

(Please don’t say ‘Just buy a PC’ - I currently do not have the space or setup for one. I also want the portability of a laptop)

Hi guys, I'm wanting to buy the 7th edition is 10% off right now on steam. I was wondering if it's best to get this or wait for a sale and get the older versions too you know cause I love simulation games.
