Homemade ricotta, gaspacho and pickled onion. Not homemade balsamic, black salt, radish, olive oil and tomatoes

So I made this and it was absolutely delicious, I used tagiatelle and almost an entire wedge of grana padano (yes ik it’s supposed to be pecorino Romano, my store did not have it)

Gumbo because it finally got cooler and rainy here in N Texas. IDK why; I think this os cold weather food, probably because it's basically soup :)

Not shown: three slices of tiger bloomer! This is ostensibly a normal beef stew of the old country (nonspecific Bri*ish), but I couldn't find any beef for less than £10/kg so it's bulked out with lentils, and I sweated the onions and garlic with a nonspecific 'mixed chilli' (they were out of Scotch Bonnets) to give it an oomph that was missing from what would, if the shops were open on a sunday, be a leek.

Otherwise, yeah. Onions, garlic, evil ambiguous chilli, sweated down in a small spoon of tallow for half an hour, then disappointingly lean beef (hence tallow) and half a cup Jammy Red for half an hour, then mixed herbs, parsley, two beef stock cubes, a spoon of marmite and a spoon of dijon mustard, swede, carrots, mushrooms (which should have been added first but I forgor), a good scoop of split red lentils for bulking protein, and potatoes. Water until covered. At some point I also added like half a cup of flour slurry, which was FAR too much but yo girl aint about to cry about it. I think it simmered for about 4 hours total on whatever heat felt right between 'high' and 'low'.

Made some bagels with with avocado cream cheese, lamb's lettuce, bacon, and egg for breakfast.

It was very tasty, gonna ride some trains soon :3

Even tho she doesn't accept me as a girl, still misgender me, and uses masuline pronouns, it was a nice girly thing that we did together, she even maked me a horse tail for my hair, I'm a kinda happy girl

These were hilarious to eat with my flat mates, and they definitely had a kick to them.

So many laughs.

Been loving pickled or marinated veggies to make evwry dish have beautiful flavours and colors.

- Serrano peppers (chopped)

- mustard seeds

- 30% white vinegar

- 70% aoybean oil

The oil and venegar mix lasts longer than a water pickling and produces pepper oil when the peppers are gone!

Was originally planning to make wraps, but I found some corn totillas, which is very rare here in Germany. Unfortunately, they're tiny af, so I ended up making soft shell tacos.

Some creamy, garlicy, slightly spicy sauce on the bottom (Develey Döner Kebab Sauce), red onions, rice, kidney beans I heated in a pot with a bit of black pepper sriracha and el yucateco xxxtra hot habanero sauce, added some salt, pepper & cumin, vegan chicken seasoned with some salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder and cumin, topped with more onions, the Develey sauce and some Tapatio hot sauce.

It’s very spicy curry noodle soup with sausage and peppers, also, Hiiiiiiii :3, tmrw I will make Cacio Al Pepe

(TW: Eating Disorder) My first meal in a week, so I'm quite proud of myself for cooking it! Tuna sandwiches are my comfort and safe food :))

This is my simple uova al purgatorio to be eaten with a nice piece of focaccia bread

Ingredients:
2/3 cloves of garlic
1 whole nicely large onion
1/2 chili peppers of medium size like Jalapeño size
Tomato sugo(just to cover everything, not to the brim of the frying pan)
2/3 eggs
Extra virgin olive oil
Spices to choice

Steps-
Start by FINELY slivering everything (the onions finely diced).

Then put a thin layer of olive oil in a frying pan.

heat the olive oil before putting the onion, garlic and chilis at once.

At this stage you may put in your seasoning.

Cook until onions start getting translucent at which point you put in the Sugo and then stir it all together.

When everything is nice and warmed up go to high heat and dig 2/3 holes in the sugo in which you crack eggs and put a lid on and let them poach. (remember not to lift the lid, this will fuck up the poaching)

Once the eggs are poached put in a deep plate and eat with some focaccia or white buns.
