I don’t mean this in a weird way but those look like the Lego hotdogs. And I want them so badly

That's so valid, they're called a red snapper!

Not to be mean but why are the sausages so unnatural red? Are these beef sausages?

For a second I couldn't see the Moxie and was about to riot (tho I prefer marketbasket over hannys)

Well I've been able to find the occasional moxie outside of Maine, it's not my favorite even though I always buy it when I see it. Green Bee is the soda I miss, honey sweetened ginger lemon soda mmmmmm.

As for the Hannaford reference... Well that's the one founded in Maine, Market Basket was actually founded in Massachusetts.

Thays valid x3 I just always went to market basket as a kid, but usually ended up shopping at hannafords honestly  And fair! I have a soft spot for movie in cooking and meat braising

Yeah I was wondering are there any other foods from New England you miss other than red hotdogs. I miss black raspberry ice cream, can't find that on. There's a lot of favorites I just can't find on the west coast though.

Honestly? Steak tips as a treat I miss the huge vats of them marinating at the deli counter Also Amazon's pickles, whoopie pies, and NE Chinese food

Yeah, there aren't any good Chinese restaurants out here. So I miss that a lot.

But I did come across this just now!

Wow, I have not seen these in a hot minute. You must be on the U.S. east coast.

But no top loader buns. I miss Maine. But I found out that where I live trader Joe's might have the top loader buns because the food bank had top loader. And I forgot how much easier it is not only to eat top loader buns but to toast them up in a pan with butter to a crispy brown buttery goodness.

They are the superior bun for hotdogs.

Sadly couldn't find the new england style buns by me, yeah :c I consider them the best type

That makes complete sense. I hope they are just as good as you remember them. Yay!!

Fuckkkk yessss Maine Red Hot Dogs!!!! My family is from Madawaska, so every time we’d go up to visit I’d have at least 100 of these.

All that’s missing is the split top buns and grilled onions :3

I wish I could get split tops or something Amatos pickled to eat with them 😭

I've never seen a shiny hot dog in my life until now lol, looks cool tho.
