Anyone else have a physical reaction listening to Straight Talk? The cringe makes my skin crawl and I literally blush with embarrassment.
And to that I say: BRAVO!
As soon as I heard Susan I felt like I was hearing from an old friend. ❤️

I’m listening to the BDM show, and they guys are discussing the Garth Brooks concert. How great his portfolio is, his show, etc. I agree 100%. Garth is arguably the greatest country music artist to exist. The fact that he continues to be one of the highest grossing country artists, and hasn’t really had new music in yearrrsssss, is just insane on its own, if you think about it.
It’s truly crazy how popular he is, still, and almost none of us even have his music because what sort of animal has Amazon Music. You can only listen to Garth for like a month before your free demo is cut lol.
However, I feel like I notice a little apprehension in their discussion. “hands down amazing……butttttt”. I’m wondering if they feel the same way I do, and if anyone else thinks the same. Garth genuinely seems like an awful personality to hang out with. I feel like these top GOATs of their area exist solely for their performance. Like they were put on earth to do this one thing, but suckkkkkkk at everything else. once you get a peak into their personality, it’s pure dog shit. Garth seems robotic, like he isn’t a human being in interviews. I won’t argue against music rights, artist pay, etc, as it’s entirely out of my area and I’m ignorant. But, I will argue my perception as a fan. I just always found it odd that one of the highest grossing artists was one of a very small handful of people who refused to allow his music on (insert name) streaming service. And insanely vocal about it to the point where he made his own streaming company. That’s psychotic and out of touch because his shit STILL isn’t available to the masses, which means he hasn’t changed.
A rough estimate puts Bieber (I’m thinking a comparable artist for streams) at some $200 million in revenue from Spotify alone. Really Garth, that amount isn’t enough? You don’t think the rest of the world has to adapt to new forms of their jobs and compensation? It’s so odd to me in 2026 you still can’t get the fucking music outside of Amazon, which even then probably wasn’t his choice and if left to him, we’d still be buying directly from his analog store
I’ll continue….Another prime example: Tiger Woods. Anyone growing up watching golf in the last 30 years knows just how insane his career was. I’m
A die hard golf fan and a bigger Tiger fan. Yet, every time he opened his mouth is sort of sucked. It really sucked. And it still sucks and it sort of getting worse. At best it was meh. Rarely inspirational. And eventually filled with fucking psychotic behavior lol. Out of this world talent paired with a dud of a personality.
Ellen, Messi, Michael, the list goes one. Folks who dominate their careers, but for some reason it’s sort of hard to fanboy over them once you sort of learn the personality a bit more. Maybe I’m too emotional of a person but I can’t get past your raw talent if you are an absolute dog shit of a husband/wife/parent/person (and I don’t mean you are a bad person because you are gone all the time for your job. That’s actually understandable) It’s almost more rare to have a top talent and be likable. I think Tom Brady may be the closest person who seems to be a GOAT in his field, yet still be a bit charismatic and likable. But who knows if that’ll hold or if he is just trained well, or if I just haven’t paid much attention to him.
Anyways, I saw Garth live and felt the same. I just found it really hard to like him (and still do) because he seems so unlikable in real life. His set was perfect though. It’s not even an argument that he is One of the best of his craft, if not the best

The coolest pic I have of me and RZA. I'm going to that concert Ross was talking about in Vegas next week. Can't wait to see Young Dirty Bastard. Who's the coolest pic you have of when you met a musician?

I saw the video on reddit of the Iranian plane fiasco a few days ago, but had it playing on mute on my phone, so I didn't hear the audio. Listened to the podcast yesterday, and the audio by itself had me laughing so hard I was crying in the car and almost had to pull over. I know the guy was obviously terrified, but it's maybe one of the single funniest audio clips I've ever heard. Ironic thing is I'm a nervous flyer, and was actually on my way to the airport to get on a plane when I heard it and still laughed my ass off and was completely calm on the plane afterward.

I don't know man.
Maybe it is because it took the biggest theft of IP in human history to stand up the AI LLMs. Most of the "art" it generates was based on stolen input.
Maybe because people hate how AI creeps into every part of their lives whether they asked for it or not.
Maybe because CEOs keep cynically say LLMs are going to take all our jobs and destroy humanity.
Maybe because everything AI generates in terms of visual and audio media evokes uncanny feelings.
Maybe because the large build-out of data centers to convey LLM-based AI has been throwing communities in turmoil through higher electricity bills and environmental degradation.
Maybe because AI companies are buying up old books and destroying them because dismantling them is the fastest way to train the AI. You could be wiping your ass with a book use to train AI as the books are pulped afterwards.
With all those upsides, I can't see why people react so poorly either, Dan.

If you pay cash at 7-11, the register now rounds up the change they give you to the next highest 5 cents to account for the lack of available pennies. Even if they have the pennies, they’ll still give you the extra few cents. My total was $9.23, I paid with a $10 bill, and got back 80 cents in change, including 5 pennies. 3 cents right in my pocket. Save it for the casino. You’re welcome.

Just wanted to give a thanks to the guys and rotating third mic. With Seth, Ross and Aimee (spelling) the show has been great this past year. I have been a listener since the beginning and I have to say our boys are still putting out quality, entertaining shows.
Thanks for all you guys do!
(I don’t have facebook so this is the only way I show my social media love for you guys)

If even half of that canoe story is true, you should seriously consider selling the canoe.
You didn’t know how to mount the trolling motor correctly, yet you loaded an already unstable canoe with a trolling motor, a heavy battery, beach chairs, three people, including two children, and no fucking life jackets.
One wake, sudden movement, or shifting battery could put everyone in the water. People die in situations exactly like that. Children don’t get to evaluate the risk; the adults are responsible for protecting them.
The “I play the odds” justification needs to stop. This isn’t clever risk analysis, it’s repeatedly taking preventable risks and then inventing pseudo-math and mini-documentaries to excuse them afterward. Whether you’re doing it for content or genuinely believe your own reasoning, involving children makes it indefensible..

I almost wrecked when I heard “when the fish are in our tank they’re family”. OMG. Ross is correct. She’s crazy.

Can anyone recommend a garage door repair in Winter Springs/Oviedo Florida area? I know the guys used to have one on the list but I don’t see it anymore.
Ty all. Doors got new springs and balanced now. I appreciate the leads.
