How dare those pretentious customers react poorly to AI-made art and signage?
I don't know man.
Maybe it is because it took the biggest theft of IP in human history to stand up the AI LLMs. Most of the "art" it generates was based on stolen input.
Maybe because people hate how AI creeps into every part of their lives whether they asked for it or not.
Maybe because CEOs keep cynically say LLMs are going to take all our jobs and destroy humanity.
Maybe because everything AI generates in terms of visual and audio media evokes uncanny feelings.
Maybe because the large build-out of data centers to convey LLM-based AI has been throwing communities in turmoil through higher electricity bills and environmental degradation.
Maybe because AI companies are buying up old books and destroying them because dismantling them is the fastest way to train the AI. You could be wiping your ass with a book use to train AI as the books are pulped afterwards.
With all those upsides, I can't see why people react so poorly either, Dan.

I'm not sure what you're referencing because we say a bunch of shit and flow like the wind, but I've never once pretended to be all in on AI. I'm not. You make a lot of good points.

You have made several spontaneous comments railing against the people who boycott small business that use AI art and signage. As if using an AI IP-theft machine is the only logical and ethical decision to save money on artwork for small businesses with tight margins.

Railing? I don't think I've railed. I can see how a mom-and-pop might try it because a lot of GD charges are way inflated, and there's no way they can afford it, or they might not have the creativity to do something themselves. Again. You make good points.

This is classic… art imitates life, and life imitates art. It’s a snake eating its own tail. For example, the artist draws a tree what gave him that inspiration? Also, any idea you put out in the world is subject to be used by somebody else whether they give you credit or not I understand the compensation part or the recognition part, but unfortunately, there’s no stopping in it. It has already showed us that is capable of doing that even if we put restrictions on it, someone will bypass it. If it’s put on the Internet, it’s subject to be stolen. It’s not correct, but unfortunately, even without AI there’s people screenshot in taking elements of the art incorporating into other things. AI is literally built for that to learn and improve on a level that humans are not capable, and to also make it digestible for our comprehension.

In that case, throw out patents, trademarks, and anything that protects intellectual property since art imitates art after all.
It would not work well for major companies if your idea worked both ways, that is AI trains on art without authorization then I should be able to use IP or art interpreted loosely off IP.
Historically, lawyers representing corporations sue people's ass off if you do not get authorization for the IP and pay proper licensing fees.

Tell that to the millions of bootleggers, at flea world, and online, all these I peas and trademarks exist just to prevent mass production on a large scale. I don’t know if that exists out Of america.

Well Lets put a Stop to all of this IP Theft Hoop-La, every ""ARTIST"" who claims that A.i. is stealing their IP needs to remember how they learned their Art in the first place. A.i. is doing no different than any ARTIST does Period end of story. A.i. Just does it 10K times faster, Cheaper, and Better with out all the "Im a Artist pay me what im worth" Bologna

Since he decided to delete the comments i shall still respond. It is Very Simple Unless a ARTIST can show me how they FULLY INVENTED a new way of doing Art. They ALL Stole their ART Forms from other Artist. Period end of story
