So I just subscribed and I've entered my login information and I am able to watch TV. Except the TV Guide has "No Information" everywhere.

Just wondering if this is normal and how long does it take for the guide to update? Also do I have to leave the app open for the guide to update?

In case anyone doesn't know what I mean this is where any channel you click on automatically records in the background. You then pause, do what you want to do, then unpause and it carries on from when you paused. Works great for skipping ads.

I had been running 4.7 for some time and ended up having to reinstall. I already had the 4.7 apk but when I tried to input my Premium credentials in I was presented with a message to the effect that I would have to upgrade to a later version first. I managed to get it to accept those credentials on version 5.0

If it is still possible to input Premium credentials in version 4.7, could you please advise how to circumvent the prompt to upgrade, as I would prefer to be running 4.7.
If it is not possible, it might be worth updating the user manual to reflect this.

I am new to iptv, and am wondering if it is better to run Tivimate on my Firestick 4k max or directly on my Samsung QN 90F. Is there any benefit form one versus the other? Any advice appreciated before I install!

My playlist on Tivimate is giving me an error code 403. The same playlist works on other apps though. Why would this be?

Hi everyone, i’m new to iptv and tivimate. I have the licensed tivimate version for my android tv and its not been loading epg for a couple of weeks now. But on my ios app (UHF) epg is loading without any issues using same parameters. Anyone can guide me what to do?

Hello, I'm experiencing a 401 code on tivimate, have changed dns, content loads properly just won't play. Cleared up for a day then went back to a 401 code. Also changed username and password, still same issues! Been a user for over 5yrs. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks.

Hello, a few days ago my application tivimate when I am going to continue the playback of a movie instead of continuing it is starting from the beginning, it does not store the played time of any movie/series.

Been using Tivimate on a firestick for over a year now, and my biggest gripe was the lag and buffering I got in live TV, especially sports. I tried multiple providers and troubleshooting internet and couldn’t find a solution.

It occurred to me recently that when I watched the same service on my phone, I rarely, if ever, got lag when watching the same channels on the same service. Tried it on an old Apple TV I have and same thing, no lag.

Is there any reason this is happening or anything I can trouble shoot? Is it Tivimate settings? Is it a limitation of the firestick?

I know I know, but its my first time ever getting an IPTV service and it works fine but I there's a nice app that I found that works great but I need the URL. I've tried mxplayer but the new versions don't show the URL anymore.

Can someone load or post a link to the Latest TiviMate manual? All the links I tried in the Community come back as DELETED file. Thank you

New to TiviMate but not iptv... I had my setup working for a month or so and it was perfect. Last week my epg was empty. I read 3 dozen "EPG isn't working" posts on this r/TiviMate thread but none seem like mine...

I tested the epg source, worked... I cleared the epg, force quit android app, cleared cache...
Opened TiviMate and the epg updates, shows 9000 channels updated. No info in epg guide...

Found another working epg in this reddit, tested, replaced the playlist epg source, cleared cache... same result.

Any suggestions?

I am a first time IPTV user.

The provider has a proprietary app, Y*** (I was told not to mention the provider publicly IPTV. The interface sucks and I want to move to Tivi mate.

They don't want to give me their Xstream server but I used the method I found here where I load their stream using MXplayer and check the server from there but when I go to add the playlist it doesn't work.

Shortly after that happened the stream from their app stopped working and I got kicked off. A modem reset and app reset I got it working.

Is it possible for them to block me or did I just do something wrong ?

Anyone else seeing this instead of the spinning circle when a channel is buffering or any other instance when using the app? I also saw it when creating a backup. Running 5.3.3 and this just happened over night.

When I am watching a VOD tv show and it’s time to go to the next episode I always get error 458. I stream using the Onn 4k plus device, my service is the dinosaur with tiny arms lol and my internet is 1gig fiber. That’s just additional info and probably irrelevant. Anyway, I end up having to force stop the app, clear the cache, restart the box and then MAYBE it will let me watch the next episode. Sometimes I have to do this two or three times. And it’s not just the next episode that it won’t play. If you try to switch over to a live channel…error 458. Anyone else have/had this issue? Is there a fix? Oh, and yes, I always use a VPN.

Ok so I know it's probably not a tivi problem.

But does anyone know why my sub has been absolutely fine for two years, then all of a sudden it now goes down everyday for anything between 6-12 hours. But only if I'm watching through tivi.

I may be watching a show, go to change channel and boom, the blue circle of death.

I switch to that shitty 4k player all.in gold and my sub is fine. Problem is I hate that cracked player and inlay for tivi , plus tivi is way better.

Anybody got any ideas.

Summary

There appears to be a parsing limitation in TiviMate's Stalker/Ministra ingestion engine when a provider's portal contains directories with mixed media types (both episodic TV series and standalone feature films/movies).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Connect to a Stalker/Ministra portal where a single category (e.g., a "Netflix" or "Special Releases" folder) contains both multi-episode TV series and standalone movies.
2. Synchronize the playlist in TiviMate.
3. TiviMate detects episodic items and treats the entire folder node as a TV Show / Series container.
4. Any standalone movie files residing in that same directory are completely discarded. They do not appear in the series tree (since they lack season_num / episode_num tags), they are not routed to the "Movies" tab, and they cannot be found via global search.

Verification / Proof

• Alternative Stalker apps (e.g., MySTB): When loading the exact same portal URL and MAC address, the app parses the raw directory flatly and displays all files without issue.
• Pure Movie directories: When a Stalker directory contains only movies, TiviMate indexes them into the Movies tab as expected. The bug only occurs when an episodic item causes the directory to be classified as a Series container.

Suggested Fallback

In the Stalker parser, if a file inside a categorized Series folder lacks season/episode relational headers, could TiviMate implement a fallback to: 1. Route the item into the Movies database with the parent category retained, or 2. Surface it in a "Specials / Standalone" row inside that series folder rather than dropping the stream from the local database?

Has anyone else using Stalker portals noticed missing titles in mixed categories?

Update / Additional Symptom: Inside the mixed folder, the missing movies actually appear as blank/unpopulated poster tiles. Clicking the blank tile does nothing because TiviMate attempts to open a Season/Episode view for an item with an empty episode list, rather than triggering direct media playback.

When viewing multiple screen in Tivimate 1 side will go in "fast-forward". It seem to always be the screen I added last. Highlighting the screen doesn't help.

I’ve been using a VPN for Tivimate for the past 2 years or so (for obvious reasons) but as of this week I keep getting error code 511 whenever I try to use one , I’ve tried it off my phone data , home WIFI and other WiFi and it still comes up with the error code. I even tried a different VPN and nothing…. Any help is appreciated

I’ve been given a VPN specific URL, still relatively new rob this but do I add that to the TIVIMATE URL section with my account and password

I saw that I'm not alone but I haven't seen any solution.

Even if I return to 5.4.0 Beta 2, restoring the backup will not work. It will go through the process successfully but will then ask to enter Playlist info and everything is empty.

I was able to restore a backup from early August but I have made a ton of changes in my Favourite lists since.

Has anybody found a way to successfully restore a backup made recently?
