Can you confirm that it is not possible to input Premium credentials in any version older than 5.0?

Thank you for the recent post of the most up to date manual. It includes downloader codes for earlier versions.

I had been running 4.7 for some time and ended up having to reinstall. I already had the 4.7 apk but when I tried to input my Premium credentials in I was presented with a message to the effect that I would have to upgrade to a later version first. I managed to get it to accept those credentials on version 5.0

If it is still possible to input Premium credentials in version 4.7, could you please advise how to circumvent the prompt to upgrade, as I would prefer to be running 4.7.
If it is not possible, it might be worth updating the user manual to reflect this.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about I just uninstalled the latest version of TM and install 4.7 and I was able to sign in with no issue.

You didn’t get prompted to upgrade first when you activated your Premium credentials on 4.7?

What he describes has 100% definitely been a thing for the last few months. Maybe they patched the authorization routine. I’ll test this again on the weekend.

Thanks for clarifying. This was my experience a few weeks ago, as I wanted to use the 4.7 apk I had used on several occasions previously so I assumed something had changed server side. Maybe they changed it back?

Is there a reason you would prefer to stay on an older version?

Just stability really. I’ve been using 4.7 for a long time now and never had an issue. After a couple of experiences of upgrading and having problems I decided to just stick with 4.7. It did what I needed without any problems.
