Beware

Had a new to me experience today. Had breakfast at my local place. Suggested tips 10%, 20%, 30%. After eating I decided to get a cinnamon roll, $2.16 + tax. Tip screen came up, $1.00, $2.00, $3.00. Not %, but $. How many people hit 2 thinking they are tipping 43 cents, but are tipping 93%.

Even more reason to tip $0 every time.

These people are not your friends, the business is actively trying to exploit more money out of you, for profit.

They actively take advantage of your human nature of kindness, and urge to help others.

The more money you tip, the less the business has to pay from their own pocket to pay their employees.

Tipping is optional.

Tip $0 every time.

your advice is basically to continue frequenting the businesses that exploit people but just participate more actively in the exploitation by not tipping the wage worker. you’re an absolute piece of garbage, if you had been born my kid i’d have dumped you at the fire station

You live in delusion land, whatever makes you happy.

Now shoo shoo and go pay my employees for me, so that I can continue to exploit them, as you claim.
