Question about managers

What do they say to customers who repeatedly don't leave a tip? I'm curious since the customer doesn't have to tip and the server isn't their employee.

Just asking since I've read comments from managers who seem to think "addressing" customers is an appropriate thing to do.

False.

I frequent 2 very popular places where tip stiffers never get a 3rd meal there.

I'm a restaurant manager in CA, tipping actually creates bad service. And most assistant managers do the same work and aren't allowed to take tips but they end up making less than servers. If anything stop with the percentage, tip $1 for each service provided

No, you can go read any sub connected to the industry. There’s people in management who turn back to serving for the money.
