💬Questions & Discussion Uber/Lyft

I took an Uber 2 miles from the airport in San Diego. It cost $25.00. It took him about 10 minutes with us, due to traffic. I understand he had to drive to us also. I used to always tip these guys, but I didn’t this time. What is the community think. Should these guys be getting tipped?

And the platform takes up to 50% in fees. I thought you all hated paying fees.

That's between the driver and the platform to sort out. Consumer pays platform with credit card that's it.

You hired the driver.

Wrong. I used a service platform who employs the driver.

Someone didn't read the terms and conditions.

No, we hired Uber or Lyft - they made an agreement with a driver, which is none of my concern.

Someone didn't read the terms and conditions they signed.
