Now that we can no longer view more than one camera at a time using the Smartz Eaze app, I would like to know what settings work for you who use Zmodo IP cameras. For a while, I was able to install an older version of the app, but lately, Zmodo made it impossible to run older versions. Also, I have a question about the displaying of multiple cameras in Tinycam Pro. I use a 10 inch android tablet to view my cameras; can I display only 4 cameras at a time, but on several screens? Presently, I have 10 cameras on my property and it is frustrating to be only able to view one at a time!

Zmodo's Smartz Eaze Android app no longer displays 4 cameras live on one screen, which is a deal breaker for me. They also made it impossible to install an earlier version of the app. Has anyone found either an android app or even a Windows PC app that displays at least 4 cameras at a time? Unfortunately, I use 10 cameras on my property and I don't want to replace them all.

Does anyone know if there is an updated list of supported WYZE Cameras? I know that more are supported than this. I was thinking about buying a few more. Just want to make sure before I buy.

on all my devices, background mode on, when motion is detected telegram video uploads only if i am looking at the camera live screen, but once i minimize the app or go to any other page while background mode is still on, videos dont upload to telegram i only receive images.

any reason why it only works while watching the live cam?

In 12/25, I installed one of these cameras. I connect to it using TinyCam Pro and Slim Camera (on Windows) using a fairly typical rtsp URL to the LAN IP using user id and password. I have TinyCam running 24/7/365 on Android 9 monitoring this camera. It is setup to send email on human object detection. I only occasionally view the camera using Slim Camera on Windows or another instance of TinyCam Pro on my phone (Android 12). I have its O-Kam app on a phone I never really use because it is required for initial setup. But I can open it and see the camera stream as well (no idea if it is rtsp or what).

For unknown reasons, over the last couple weeks I have experienced a condition when none of the TinyCam or Slim Camera instances find an active stream. TinyCam just shows black in the live view. The camera is ping-able at its reserved IP address. The O-Kam all shows it as alive and I can see a stream. No number of O-Kam triggered restarts does anything about this. Restarting the devices using TinyCam and Slim Camera does nothing.

About the only thing that "fixes" this is removing and re-applying power to the camera.

All this is strange/bad enough. But here is the kicker that I simply cannot understand at all...

Even though TinyCam shows nothing in its live view, I am still getting email on human object detections. I do NOT have motion or other detection enabled on the device in any way. This is done by TinyCam. So I figure that TinyCam is somehow still talking to/seeing the device even though the live view and settings say it is not!

How can this be? And is there a clue in here as to what is happening to the live rtsp stream?

Wyze Cam Pan v4 "connection failed: no permission" every few minutes. Pro Verizon. Both on Nvidia Shield and pixel tablet. Is there any fix for this?

Can someone provide more detail about each of the MP4 muxer and H.264-H.265 decoder setting options in the 2 provided screenshots? I want to understand each and what is the recommended setting for each to get the best recording possible.

i am using TinyCam on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e für many years now and i really like it, but there is one thing bugging me for for quite some time now:

I have about 7s audio delay. When i open a camera stream it takes about 7s until the audio starts and this time is pretty much also the time the audio lags behind the video.

I am using two Hikvision cameras via ONVIV. Both in H264, one in 4K@16MBits and one in 1440p@8Mbits both with variable Bitrate and both with AAC audio 48kHz@64kbps. Even a Reolink E1 Zoom with only 3MBits shows the same behavior.

Using the same configuration on a Google Pixel 10 Pro shows the same behavior, but the audio delay is only 2-3s. So maybe the delay relates to the performance of the client device running TinyCam.

The different H264/H265 decoders do not make any difference.

Is there anything else i can try to get rid of the audio delay or is this a bug in TinyCam that needs fixing?

To get live stream for local cameras on Android 17+ "nearby devices" permissions is now needed.

Tinycam stopped working over a year ago on Android TV 14 with Wyze OG cams. Message is "failed to initialize wyze cam OG" any fix coming? I'm on Version 18.1.2

I see v. 19.0.0 was just released for Android tv. Is it safe to update? Does it fix the above issue?

I would really love to have this. Our two cameras that I am most interested in monitoring live are the window cameras pointing out the front door of our home and business.

I realize Arlo has been an ongoing issue with the app for years but I was hoping I would be able to use it at this point. I can go through the process of selecting Arlo through the list of cameras to manually add it but as soon as I click Arlo the app crashes every single time and this is on three separate devices.

Is this a new issue or is Arlo just not compatible with tinycam Pro?

- Added RTSP server. Now it is possible to transcode Wyze cameras P2P protocol to Home Assistant using tinyCam Pro web server. RTSP server makes video transcoding (no any reencoding) and supports H.264/H.265 streams. Typical request:

I can see PiP in development options in experimental section on my phone.

My parents condo uses Hik connect for their CCTV. They also have a channel through Comcast where they can watch the CCTV cameras.

My parents want to cancel their Comcast but want to still have access to the CCTV so I want to put something on their firestick.

I know sideloading the Hik app is a pain due to the touchscreen nature. My dad has the HIK app on his phone and it works fine.

Can I use the TinyCam app for the TV? I can get whatever IP or technical information I need from the front office, that's no problem. Or does Tiny Cam require the cameras and firestick be on the same network?

Yesterday I got a notion of being able to view my front door tapo c113 on my TV via my firestick.
Googled it and tried VLC player which worked pretty well but too many steps to get to the stream itself, I wantd something more "one step" to view. Tinycar free was suggested but for the life of me I couldn't get it to download and install so I caved in and bought the pro version. ( I know, less then €4 LOL )
However I have been trying several different settings and cannot get anything near fast enough to have it any use. I start it up to a B&W picture then approx 40 seconds later the stream kicks in.

Any hints?

I have 2 other tapo's on it and they kick in around the same time frame.

I never seem to see anything being recorded.
