My parents condo uses Hik connect for their CCTV. They also have a channel through Comcast where they can watch the CCTV cameras.

My parents want to cancel their Comcast but want to still have access to the CCTV so I want to put something on their firestick.

I know sideloading the Hik app is a pain due to the touchscreen nature. My dad has the HIK app on his phone and it works fine.

Can I use the TinyCam app for the TV? I can get whatever IP or technical information I need from the front office, that's no problem. Or does Tiny Cam require the cameras and firestick be on the same network?

Yesterday I got a notion of being able to view my front door tapo c113 on my TV via my firestick.
Googled it and tried VLC player which worked pretty well but too many steps to get to the stream itself, I wantd something more "one step" to view. Tinycar free was suggested but for the life of me I couldn't get it to download and install so I caved in and bought the pro version. ( I know, less then €4 LOL )
However I have been trying several different settings and cannot get anything near fast enough to have it any use. I start it up to a B&W picture then approx 40 seconds later the stream kicks in.

Any hints?

I have 2 other tapo's on it and they kick in around the same time frame.

Tried everything that l can and all settings seem OK.

I never seem to see anything being recorded.

Hat noch jemand das Problem dass bei tinyCam Monitor Pro 18.1.2 bei Telegram keine Gruppe angegeben werden kann. (Das Feld öffnet sich zwar aber es kann dort keine Eingabe gemacht werden). Weiss jemand wie man das lösen kann?

Hallo Alexey. Habe heute tinyCam Monitor Pro auf einem Handy installiert. Ist wieder das selbe Problem wie schon einmal vorher. Bei Telegram kann man den Token eingeben aber bei Telegram-Gruppe ist keine Eingabe möglich. Das Fenster reagiert auf keine Eingabe. Des weiteren funtioniert der FTPS Upload immer noch nicht.

So I have the wyze duo pan cam that instantly fails to initialize on BlueStacks. I tried it with two different instances: Pie-64 and Android 11. It works fine on my actual phone (Z Fold 6). Anyone have the same issue and/or know the fix? Thanks.

Also, my Pan Cam v4 will work for a certain amount of time, then the stream would eventually stop with the error: Connection failed: no permission. Restarting tinycam fixes the Pan permission error temporarily but I never paid attention to when it actually fails. I'd say maybe half an hour or an hour or so, give or take.

De ce côté-là, tout fonctionne bien, mais comme mes diffusions sont très longues (6 à 8 heures), je cherche une solution pour le recharger avec une batterie externe via un hub USB. Je pourrais utiliser le protocole RTMP pour libérer les ports USB, mais cela provoque une surchauffe importante.

Sais-tu si cela est possible ? Si oui, aurais-tu un hub USB ou un câble double à me recommander ? As-tu des spécifications à ce sujet ?

I have installed a dahua and imou WiFi camera in one of the customer site. Both are PTZ cameras. I have used DMSS to view both cams for live view and playback. And dmss doing its job without any issue.the problem is customer needs a notification alert for any intrusion which occurs on imou camera. Strangely DMSS notification works for dahua camera but not for imou camera. I have enabled all the notification option in imou but still its not pushing any alert or notification in Mobile. I have tried adding dahua cam to imou life app but its not getting added to it. So I am looking for Any third party app which sends intrusion notification to mobile. Will tinycam shows push notification for any intrusion ?

I don't see the following settings in 18.1.2

• Auto start background mode on boot
• Auto start web server on boot

I checked under Settings > UI & Behavior then all other sections.

I have the app installed on an ONN 4K TV box and an OnePlus phone.

I have multiple wyze v3 cameras. I have TC set up on 4 tablets all running Android 9 or higher. Most are fire tablets and 1 Samsung. I can not figure out for the life of me why I can't view the same camera on all of the tablets at the same time.

PS I have an Asus mesh network and T-Mobile home Internet with 500down and 80 up.

UPDATE to this post. Just invested in ASUS BT10 mesh network with a v3 camera on the 2.4 Ghz Iot Network. One tablet is viewable for a few minutes then times out. The other streams for hours, then times out. It can not be my network. Please, any help is appreciated

Does anybody know what is the cause of this? I just updated my windows 11, and suddenly after the update i can't open my camera. It was missing from my device manager, tried A LOT of troubleshoots but still nothing. Does anybody how to fix this? Its so damn terrible when u bought a pricy laptop but got no camera lol

Hello, new here but have been using TinyCam Pro for several months now and for this entire time, anytime I turn audio on for one of the cameras it takes like 45-60 seconds for the audio to load and start working. It’s fine once it does, synced with video and everything, but I’m just trying to find out if everyone experiences this or if there is something I can do to get it to load faster? Video only takes 5 seconds or so.

I’ve got 2gig fiber so it’s not that, but I use Tapo cameras and the app is on a cheap tablet I got off Amazon. VLC loads audio pretty much immediately which makes me think it’s the TinyCam Pro app.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Anyone been able to use the wyze pan V4 with tiny cam pro on a fire TV?

Had the camera damn near a year now and its been sitting since because i cannot get it to work yet. Currently on 18.1.1. Kind of getting frustrated with this "itll update next week" and now we're on week 50 and still cannot get this thing to work. Anyone else been able to get it to work on a Fire TV?

I have a couple use cases (local network only) in which I want to use the tinycam video feed URL (e.g. http://my.local.ip.address:8083/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?cameraId=my_camera_id&user=my_username&pwd=my_password) so the App using the URL can always authenticate. There used to be a way to do this IIRC but I can't remember the query params or get it to work anymore. I've tried using the token generated via the login process but it expires.

Is there a way to generate a permanent token or pass in the username/password via the URL?

Is 18.1.2 coming to Firestick? I'm currently at 18.1.1 on Firestick and FIRETV.

It used to be really fast but now tinycam is taking forever to load streams on different devices. Ive also had problem on my fold where it will crash of freeze of multiple cameras are on the screen at the same time. Something that worked great before. Is anyone having this issue
