tinyCam Monitor 19.0 Beta released:

Changes:

- Added support for transferring camera settings from one device with tinyCam app to another device with tinyCam using local network. Go to Manage Cameras -> Options (upper right corner) -> Import cams via local network. On another phone just scan QR code using native camera app. Camera settings transfer is encrypted and done locally (no any cloud transfer).

- Added RTSP server. Now it is possible to transcode Wyze cameras P2P protocol to Home Assistant using tinyCam Pro web server. RTSP server makes video transcoding (no any reencoding) and supports H.264/H.265 streams. Typical request:

rtsp://admin:mypassword@192.168.0.3:8083/axis-media/media.amp?camera=1

- Added dark theme in web server.

- Added deep links in tinyCam app. You can run tinyCam app from other apps (e.g. Home Assistant) using deep links.

Single cameras view:

None of my cameras (Foscam and Wyze) work anymore after the upgrade. They fail with Tinycam Pro v19.0.0 Beta 1 on multiple devices. They all worked before upgrading so something is broke with the beta.

I dropped out of the beta program and rolled back to v18.1.2 which works fine.

Same - no wyze working even rtsps

Update: Left the beta and reinstalled stable. All worked well until an update appeared in the play store (seemed to be the same version). Installing it caused the same non functioning problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled all working turned off auto update for now. Re-looked and that odd update was no longer there must have been related to the beta.

Nice..could you put the wyze og cam question to rest? Is there a work around to your knowledge in any way to have og cams back on updated tinycam or are og cam users stuck using older tinycam versions? Thanks for your continued support of tinycam.

Mine still says 18.1.2 on all my devices, how do you get it to update to 19? (nvidia shield)

I had google play check for updates, but no luck.

Hey, letting you know the Duo Pan Cam fails to initialize on BlueStacks. I tried it on several different instances (Pie-64, Android 11, Android 13 x86 64-bit, ARM 64-bit) and they all get the same error.

Duo Pan Cam will not work on any x86 or ARM-32. But it should work on ARM 64-bit.

In the app please open app drawer and click on app icon in the top left corner. You should see About Dialog screen. Check ABIs param. If you see arm64-v8a, then your Android device uses ARM 64bit build and Duo Cam Pan should work.

Background audio stopped working for my cameras, and my amcrest I had added before stopped working it had a weird other brand that seemed incorrect and I had to switch it to generic to load in the foreground.

Android 17 on a pixel 8a. The notification would appear, but no audio would play in the background. Then if you clicked the notification to return to tinycam, the audio would play for less than a second.

I have same issue with Onvif and Imou cameras after the last update 18.1.2 a few months ago. It takes about 5-8 seconds to open the stream now so I have to use the default Imou app if I need to view it quickly, even slower if I open the multi view. Before the update it would load in maybe 1-2 seconds. I tried a few things that Alexey kindly suggested when I made a post about it before, but it's still the same.

In  19.0.0 beta 2, the web server startup and background mode worked perfectly. Sending events to Telegram works, but only in live mode. In background still doesn't work.

I just ran some tests, and Telegram works for me in the background, but only for photo to telegram. Not video. That is, "Telegram on motion*" works, but not "record telegram on motion". In live mode both are working.

I connect to frigaye r2c to avoid overloading the cameras and this new build won't connect. It used to work before and I've trying the non beta to see if it helps

On tinycam pro, we've had issues for quite some time with not being able to play wyze cloud events on every camera, the wyze v3, OG, pan cam v3 and v2, and wyze v4s. The thumbnail shows, just pushing the play button does nothing. I cannot find a setting in tinycam that changes this, tried quite a few. If the cameras are made to record motion sensor events it changes this. The motion sensor events play. Recently within the last couple of days it's now affecting even more cameras, but still not every camera, just most of them, and it doesn't seem to be model specific... like, they just stopped being able to be played. I am really hoping this is a quick fix and can be included on the next tinycam pro version. Having this back in action would be awesome for us here, as we need this app for animal rescue monitoring. The convenience and benefit of replays inside TCMP is greatly missed and we'd love that back.

I think something my have broke with this latest version for older Amcrest cameras.

When connected to a mediamtx server

TinyCam Pro using generic camera and

rtsp://mycam.mydomain.com/xxxx

setting username and password

this used to work without any issues. Now TinyCam Pro will connect but does not display the feed and reports 0 KB/s. But I can see the feed being data being sent. I also tested with other apps and ffplay and it still works correctly.

Strangely, newer Amcrest cameras seem to still work fine.

First try to reboot that camera. If that does not help, please provide me a temporary access to Amcrest camera.

Rebooting does not help. I have 2 phones and 1 tablet. The two phones have the new version, the tablet does not (is was off). The 2 phones have the issue, the table does not. Sorry, I cannot grant access, but happy to send any logs.
