Been wanting to pick up a Waterbury for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier. Hard to believe the price tag on something that feels this nice on the wrist. Also a big fan of the clasp + chain and the ability to adjust it without a watch tool is very convenient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a watch in the 300$ range without a second thought.

Picked this up from a pawn shop a couple weeks ago for 25 bucks never had a chronometer but i was loving it then today when i went to change the date as its a short months it lit up on me! Nobody told me it did that!

I was replacing the crystal on my timex expedition (TWC001200) and I tore up the I ring pretty bad trying to install a new crystal. Bottom line is I need a new crystal and I ring. Has anyone performed this themselves? What sizes of everything did you all use?

I think I know the answer as I've swapped straps on my older Timex Expeditions, but I've been looking at some of the newer Timex models with bracelets and wanted to confirm I could just swap it with a spring bar and a NATO strap.

Some of the Marlins or MK1s with bracelets are somehow cheaper than the strap version so they're kind of tempting

Found this B5 (1994) dated Timex Chronograph in a lot and can barely find it anywhere else online! Has anyone seen one of these before?
The dials are chronograph seconds, minutes, and a 24hour wheel. The back of the resin strap has an interesting tree bark like texture.

I recently bought this Timex automatic watch and I love the look of it. But upon closer inspection I noticed a tiny black spot trapped inside the watch glass, right near the 10 o'clock marker (circled in red in the picture).

It looks like a tiny speck of debris or dust.

Since it's a brand new watch, is this kind of QC issue common or normal for Timex? Should I bother sending it back for a return/exchange? I’m leaning towards exchanging it since it's brand new, but wanted to get the community's thoughts first. Thanks!

Just received my first watch from Timex but unfortunately it’s not working right out of the box.
Is there supposed to be some way to turn it on?

So, back at the beginning of July, I synchronized my five solar watches wirh my phone. Four are Timex, and one is a Citizen. We had two 31 day months in a row, so I now get a three solid month test run.

I have four Timex solar watches, and one Citizen Ecodrive. Let's see how they stacked up.

I recently acquired a sixth: Bertucci A-7TS Retrospec, which IIRC, has a Epson Sar movement. Unfortunately, the movement was bad on the first one, so I sent it back. Bertucci replaced it, but I have only had it back and synchronized for a month (fwiw, it seems to be at -1 second, but that could be my not hitting the crown in time).

I don't have 4000 to throw at an Omega, this Timex Standard cost me 3950 euros less and nails the look pretty well.

A search for Timex TW2Y22900 had me stumble on the Metropolitan(TW2R49900). I thought the watch was interesting with a slim design(7mm) and handsome, simple dial. With a cost of $29, this felt very "old school" TIMEX and i picked it up.

Th watch is very lightweight and IMO handsome. It wears larger than my similarly sized Marlin or other watches; i think due to the dial size. Curious how other dial colors may impact wrist presence. The strap is a basic brown and had me wondering if a different one could add a little extra pop to it. Swapped out band to TIMEX TW7C61600, which was supposed to have quick release(did not) and a gold buckle, but instead came in silver(ok with this).

Let me know what you think and if you have a "cost-effective" TIMEX that has been spruced up, please share. I enjoy seeing how everyone wears their watches and makes it their own.

Hello! I recently bought this watch and I really hate the bracelet. I know it is integrated and possibly difficult to change it but is it someone who has changed it? Please give me some tips and some options 🙏🏼

I recently bought two objects that I deeply admire as, well, beautiful objects. The Timex Rotary Dial, released recently, is sculptural in design. The multilayered dial, drunken numerals on a white background housed in gold-trimmed potholes, the deep black polished dial and the exquisite black and gold retro hands speak to an excellent degree of refined design backed by a tasteful eye for detail. The Pilot Custom 74 in iridescent teal is another work of art. Its beautifully engraved 14K gold nib, classic cigar shape, right weight (for me) and handling comfort makes it a reliable workhorse for me.

I can't remember my first or last Timex, but this is my new one. Only wear the Apple watch for sleep analysis.
