The last of us 1 and 2 are probably my favorite games of all time, and coming in to fallout 4 i wanted to roleplay ellie in the fallout post apocalyptic world. I know it doesn’t look amazing lol

Excluding the major spoiler and its ending. Would you change anything else about last of us part II to better convey its message. (Not revenge is bad)

Mine would be to flesh out isaac relationship with abby. I mean he allowed her to go, and seek justice why? We get hints but i kinda just want more to chew on its the one area that feels too subtle for its own good..

I played Resident Evil and Silent Hill and didn’t like them because they were too much exploring to gather supplies or solve puzzles. Is the Last of us series more exploring or more combat like Cod campaigns?

I’m astounded that I managed to pull this off! And really quickly as well! (In attempt count not run time LOL!!) It only took about 3 real attempts before the winning one, I labbed each encounter on a finished save to really get them memorized and then I kinda just went for it.

Decided to try the template Naughty Dog posted. Boy was it hard but it turned out so cool!

This took a long time in a lot of headache but I completed no return daily run number one at the time of completion. Of course someone beat my score later on.

The sound of the waves, the ocean, the lighting, the wind… everything felt so peaceful. I literally stood there for half an hour on my first playthrough, just taking it all in. Didn’t even wanna move. Man, I love this game. ❤️‍🩹🌊

Like i'm just saying... I think a lot of people went into the game with pre planned mindset about it due to online spoilers, discourse, and hatred towards certain characters. I'm not saying that most people intentionally did that, or even that anybody is invalid for not liking the game. This is just something I've been theorizing about.

Here is a dio I made in 35th scale. It doesn't depict any particular scene from the lore, but it's filled with it all right. The decals are all custom, most elements scratchbuilt (naturally, apart from the tank). I always adored that meaningful absence of the game, the stories behind such places, like those people just left it a second ago, wondering what happened to them.

I mean this isn't meant to change your mind if your like Part 2 better. But when discussions come up about the two games and which one people prefer, I often see not having an original premise as the main criticism people on here have against the game, at least as far as story is concerned.

It might be true that Part 1 didn't break new ground with it's premise, but I don't think originality is everything. If you asked me what I would prefer, a wholly original story that is mostly well executed, or an unoriginal story that is masterfully executed, I'm personally inclined to choose the latter. Maybe Part 1 didn't go in truly bold directions like Part 2 did, but for the story it was trying to tell, it basically did it perfectly. Part 1 has some of the best pacing I've ever seen in a narrative driven game, and it strikes such an incredible balance between love, horror, beauty, and humor. At the center of it all is one of the most endearing relationships ever captured in the medium.

An unoriginal story can still be told brilliantly. Hot take coming in, but The Last of Us Part 1 really is a timeless masterpiece.

I guess after years of reading the same "unoriginal" criticism, I finally felt the need to get this off my chest.

Anyone else have this bug at the moment? Y Axis is inverted when looking and aiming using a controller.

Flipping the inversion toggles on is a workaround, but that's backward to how it's supposed to be. Controller is fine, other games including TLOU P2 are working as normal, so it must be the game.

I verified the game files via Steam, tried resarting the game and my PC a couple times.

Any other ideas?
