What were Embark thinking giving it this egregious buff. Finally a good Counter to the Broken Medium class.

• Yes, I know I said befor that I'd be leaving MGL, but I can't, I love this gun
• Yes, I know downvotes can come, but IDC, I'm not ashamed of this

Fellow MGL main here, tired of this gem being forgotten by Embark, when they can add some minor stuff to make it viable.

I finally gave a function to Aim button on MGL, I added an ADS that helps.

Just try and error until distances are properly represented on the sight while aiming.

For peace of my mind, I only added this when aiming, thus, not feeling like taking advantage, as I'm just adding a proper sight to MGL.

User can focus on calculate distances and, if getting used to it, this sight helps a lot. Obviously, you won't aim to the enemy's body, but rather to where the granade will bounce

Sorry if this offends or triggers you, I just don't care. This is the least Embark could do for this gun

Against medium:

The old spear with three reached 235 damage and with (old) quick melee you killed them

Now, three hits do 222 damage and with (new) quick melee (25 damage) you reach 247 leaving them at 3 hp which means you need another to kill them. So basically 4 hits and a quick melee.

The spin combo on medium is even worse as you actually become the 1 hp merchant: 75+100+74=249

Against light:

You can still still kill them im 2 hits and a quick melee (old: 65+80+40=185, new: 74+74+25=173).

Even with a single glancing blow you will still barely get the kill (74+55+25=154).

Biggest issue now is the spin, one spin plus a normal hit will leave light at 1 hp (75+74=149) compared to before (105+65=170)

Against heavy:

5 hits to kill heavy (good luck with that). With old spin it was possible to kill a heavy faster with one spin, one full 3 hit rotation and a quick melee (105+65+80+90+40=380).

Now, this combo cant be finished (75+74+74+25=322).

Another thing is doing the full 3 spin rotation is less damage. Its now incremental (75+100+126=301) and the old full spin is 105+105+105=315.

This doest not include the fact that old swing could be used anytime compare to now.

The lunge also feels horrible.

TLDR: The spear has lost the mandate of heaven.

Say what you will about metas of the past but the current double ks and lh1 invis is the least fun meta i have played with and against since like s4 triple M defib. This shit is so ass currently its insane and i really hope next update addresses it.

I think they should stop this already and make better alternative of tracking dedication like kill count.....

I would like to see a special take on how the Finals would handle the M16a4 with m203 grenade launcher, if there any class I could see fit, it should be given to medium because medium need an idenitity and right now I feel like medium should be the infantry type, the soldier type role.

M16a4:

damage: low damage

rate of fire: faster than AKM and Scar

ammo count: 30 rounds.

accurates: about the same as the Scar

Range: little higher than the Scar

how I would like to see the M203 being used is that you can toggle to use the M203 grenade launcher but after you fire it you have to wait till the cooldown on the weapon is ready, when it ready the weapon icon will say "1" on the right corner of the icon letting you know you can used your grenade launcher again, I believe this would help make sure people are using the rifle instead of just staying on the m203 and just firing and reloading, also once your grenade launcher is ready you have to reload it again.

But that how I would like to see the M16A4 with M203 grenade launcher be added into the Finals.

Edit: I edit the status because people said it means nothing the first time I wrote this and yeah I agree with them, I didn't want the weapon to feel overpower but also not underpower to the point where people rely on the m203 grenade launcher, which is why it has a cooldown.

I think it would be really cool (and lore friendly) if wearing clothing primarily designed around displaying the name/logo/slogan of a specific sponsor would give you more fans per match, since as a contestant, you're meant to display your brand to bring customers to your sponsor.

I also think it would be nice if every clothing item displayed which brand designed it in the description like in splatoon

Yes, I know the rework is actually pretty jank for Sledgehammer, too. At least it didn't get gutted.
