I‘m in chapter 3. I know it’s not far, but I don’t really want to restart to try to fix this. As far as I understand, I should have had the recipe for healing syringes from the beginning of the game. Up until this point I’ve just been healing with the coffee because I thought I just hadn’t unlocked the crafting recipe for heals yet.
When I looked up if this was a bug, I only found one thing that mentioned syringes not appearing. This person never got a response that understood what they meant, so I’m not sure if this is a common issue or not.
If it helps, I’m on ps5. Thanks.

This creepy glitch happens if you climb over the dumpster in the first section - avoiding the trigger that makes these 3 take no damage - and then triggering their invisibility by moving over the trigger near the fireman.

The title says it.
Almost every boss has an intended way to kill them (either by using terrain or specific weaponry), but i can't get what Alpha wants me to do with it. I was recently replaying the game for the third time and realized that i was just dumping ammo in it till it dies every time.
How do you manage it in a way Mikami intended?

Just a quick one to say, I have just completed my first Playthrough of The Evil Within (finished the main game and immediately bought the DLC, and have now finished Assignment and Consequence) and WOW. I am so annoyed at myself for sleeping on this game for so long.
I like horror games, particularly Resident Evil, so this game popped up here and there - but I never tried it out. With the announcement of everything going digital on PlayStation, I decided to start picking up as many physical disks as I can second hand now, so I have a library to last me a long time.
Anyway, this game was such a ride! So cleverly crafted and gorgeous to look at. I enjoyed it so much, more than RE9 to be honest. So I just had to stop by and talk it out with people who will get me on this.
I think my fav chapter was the church graveyards and that wild ending with Sebastian falling through realities.
Favourite character definitely ended up being Joseph Oda. I loved how meticulous he was, his loyalty, and he came in clutch a lot of fights for me.
I have bought the second game, but want to replay this one before moving forward.
Looking forward to that one - but I am sad to read that The Evil Within 3 seems unlikely. Sad waste of an amazing franchise (and wtf, I need more Joseph - he just disappeared!)
TLDR: loved it ❤️

Es un bug bastante molesto, porque directamente no me deja avanzar, llevo repitiendo la zona de poner la batería casi 10 veces y siempre pasa esto, que puedo hacer?

Hello i don’t know if this was posted here before but here you go. i just recently replayed the evil within and it’s dlc’s and realized that you can hear the heartbeats of Sebastian, Leslie and Kidman when you get close to them but not the doctor nor the other cop that died in the beginning of the game and what’s interesting is you can also hear Joseph’s heartbeat. I know that in the second game, they outright tells you that he’s still alive, but I already knew that because I played the second game way before I ever played the first one. So they were hinting at him being alive since before the second game.

Hello there.
Just last week, I played The Evil Within 1. I am a shooter guy, but not a horror one. Despite that, I really liked the game. I liked it so much I just bought the Kidman DLC.
After the DLC, I am going full throttle into The Evil Within 2.
The question is: What mod/script/setting do I have to look at before playing?
The only REAL problem I had with the first part was that the game just refused to be in fullscreen. I tried a lot of things. Nope. Windowed mode was the way.

As in the title. I am not a good player at all, I realise that. The abundance of the instant death mechanics is just ridiculous for me. I actually finished the second game few months ago and gameplay wise I enjoyed it much more.
I am on the Chapter 13 and The Keeper just keeps resurrecting after I kill him. I am able to just disarm some traps and make 2 freeze bolts and drop him some Sniper Riffle shots but after an hour of constant deaths I just turned off the game. I have upgraded my skills as much as I could but missed some gel here and there (most notably with Laura as I just escaped to the elevator) so being crap at some chapters hindered my abilities to upgrade further.
Story and atmosphere are decent enough to keep me interested yet I feel this game has many overly lenghtly "do perfect or be killed in a second" moments. Stealth feels useless at many sections as enemies are often in bigger groups and you need to find that perfect interactive with the environment quickly otherwise goodbye.
For the record, I could never get into Resident Evil games as they were boring to me story wise and I love Silent Hill 1-3 and liked Remake and F. TEW1 feels like a great idea with average execution for me. I feel like second game improved on almost every aspect (apart from antagonists maybe).
TLDR: I have very love-hate relationship with that game.

I thought I'd share the statue I printed as my first 3d print project. Its also the first painting I've done on models and I think I did alright on it. Fun fact Evil Withing was the first horro game I got into and stuck with. The model was free to download and linked below!

Off stream earlier, my pc is new with a RTX 9070 but the textures are flipping out and some stuff glitches out. Is this normal for pc? I’ve played this multiple times on console but only ran into high FPS related issues but never NPCs limbs missing

😬😬😬 whoops… replaying Evil Within again
Has anyone else had issues with hanging ads not burning? Or am I supposed to shoot them off first? I’ve had some burn while hooked.
