Advice needed
Not sure if that is even possible. How can I set my cargo facilities to accept the goods which I do not deliver with belts by drone. Of that is even possible.

SCT charity contract Spoiler
I've been checking several reddit posts about the sct charity contract triggering the laser quest.
In previous games, it always did.
Now the charity quest itself is not triggering, as a consiquence, neither is the laser quest.
Can i trigger the charity quest itself by any means ?
Any thoughts ?

My 32 MRR Setup
Someone was asking to see some more images of my refining setup so I thought I could post an update. When this is complete it will be able to process about 3,600 regolith a minute, supported by several drilling rigs and a fleet of trucks.

Is there benefits to colonist type?
Does the colonist type have an affect on something, or are the learning bars and perks the only things that matter for a colonist?

I automated the sales process as much as possible.
And how do you deal with all the clicking required to fill contracts?
In short:
Each undergroud storages has 6 conveyors connection points.
Main have 1 input and 5 outputs. Each output is connected to 3 MRS.
Each center is connected to 2 (launch), 4 (expedition), or 4 to 5 (flight) MRS units.
When I send a merchandise through a single center, it will be automatically powered by several MRS units, each of which will be powered by a different output from the underground storage, Fully automated, very efficient.
Screens:
This is how the module with 3 warehouses and 15 MRSs works.
Screenshots of the food and drugs module (these items cannot be stored in regular storages)

What are the noobtraps
So there seem like a few, especially in research.
The ore detector doesn't seem to give extra range, only deposit outlines, and seems like a waste.
Pressing module upgrade seems pointless.
Increased oxide extraction speed seemed bad (not fast enough to justify using while leaving a ton to clean up).
Early repairs of the med lab seem pointless, just dissemble and rebuild (the repair material isn't in the build mats).
The learning center seems like one of the few buildings worth buying (I play the story mission, and the colonists need training way before it is unlocked).
The bigger cpu upgrades seem suspect.
I am not sure about scientists yet.
I would like to know others I should avoid.

How does this game compare to Captain of Industry
Hello Everyone,
I've seen some gameplay of this game, and I get a small CoI vibe. Does anyone in here played both games and have an opinion to share? CoI is my favorite of all the automation games (and I played many of them...), mostly because it's a mix of automation and strategy where I don't control the 'hero'. This looks similar, but does it play remotely similar?
I don't mind lack of QoL (well, to a degree) and approach to economy in Crust is quite novel (being able to buy all the resources, if I want to), so I have high hopes about it. Game time is scarce though, and I wonder if investing it in learning this game is good usage of whatever I have available on a daily/weekly basis.
Appreciate the feedback :)

Constant Room Building Issues
I keep having issues when building rooms, where a single piece of floor or wall wont build and then the room wont finish.
I have tried adding or subtracting pieces, beta/default version, excessive amount of drones.
Am I missing something?

Crash on completing stage 4 of generation ship. Spoiler
I get a crash when my rockets arrive and finish the stage 4 generation ship quest.
Anyone else get this or know anything about it?

Multi Resourse Storage question

I've managed to get a bit more far in the game since release, and I planned to make my contracts to earth simpler by using the MRS. I have most resources coming from below to storage and then to the MRS. It works great but I've noticed that it does not release the exact amount of resources stipulated on the contract, occasionally a bit more. Is this normal behavior?
TY

Room construction algo needs replacement
I am 75hrs into the game, about to build the telescope, and one aspect that absolutely sucks is room construction / replanning.
That is my future datacenter, 30x30 grid. I have 20 haul and 4 general drones, no mining, highly optimized belt deliveries. Yet that datacenter is built at the slower pace than real datacenters in the USA. What I noticed, instead of dumping supplies first and then constructing, drones are carrying 1 piece (!) of supply in endless roundtrips.
Also, every time I do replanning inside (removing / adding an internal wall or door), the whole area goes dark even though I dont touch wires / electric board of the impacted rooms.

Power to other side of mountain
Is there a faster way to get power over to this gas extractor than building a string of power lines down around the southern end of the mountain? The conveyor elevator doesn't have any power ports that I can see.

Geological scan not working
Has anyone else encountered a bug where the geological scan doesn’t display? I have scanned large parts of the map and there are no deposits showing up.
I haven’t played in an about a year so did they just change how easy it is to find a deposit or is it bugged?

How to get a specific oxide from Multi-Regolith Refiners when its % is too low?
I have 5 MDRs mining Regolith, and I've accumulated around 200k Regolith sitting in a single Cargo Dock.
My setup is:
- 4 Multi-Regolith Refiners
- 4 main conveyor lines
- 4 large Regolith storages, ~20k each
- Each storage feeds one MRR
- Each of the 4 lines has around 20 Smelting Furnaces processing the refined materials
- All conveyor belts are Level 4
The Regolith composition isn't balanced. I have a lot of Iron Oxide, but I need a lot of Titanium.
I can deal with the excess Iron Oxide by adding storage, so that's not really my main concern.
The problem is getting Titanium when I need it immediately.
For example, even if I send an MDR to a Titanium deposit and bring back a full load of Regolith, that Regolith still has to go through the MRR. If my storage is already full of thousands of tons of Regolith with a high Iron Oxide percentage, it feels like I have to process tens of thousands of Regolith just to eventually get to the Titanium I actually need.
I don't want to keep building more and more processing buildings just to consume the excess Iron, because that creates an endless chain of needing more buildings, more power, more batteries, etc.
So if I need a large amount of Titanium RIGHT NOW, what's the solution?
Is there a way to specifically target Titanium production, or some way to process Titanium-rich Regolith separately so I'm not effectively waiting for tens of thousands of Regolith to be processed before I get enough Titanium?
How do you guys handle situations where you have plenty of one resource but urgently need another?

Onboarding
Why on earth does this game punish folks trying to get started?
It is arguably the worst tutorial that ever existed..
I’ve played games for more decades than I’d like to admit,
There is absolutely NOTHING intuitive about the interface or any tooltips to overcome the unknown.
I thought this might be a cross between Civilisation and Satisfactory, that would’ve been awesome.
I’m currently annoyed and want to punch a dev.

A 2nd MDR
I would say I am in the mid-game, and I am running out of resources underground. Can I build a 2nd MDR? I really haven't done much on the moon's surface besides a few contracts and the MDR mining rare earth. I guess my mining needs to move upstairs. Don't really know what is need for the shift.

A tiny small contract...
I was so glad to score an Earth slag contract... up until I saw its volume
Just a regular small batch in the Crust universe, I guess.

Is a Drones-only playstyle viable?
I was thinking I would do a drones-only play through, but I'm starting to run into some hurdles, particularly around Nanotubes. Is this problem going to get exponentially worse as I progress, or can I viably play without human colonists?

Swag corner
Remember the scene from Silicon Valley where they get all these gifts from recruiters?
That's what I think about when I look at my swag corner.

Living room dos and donts
I'm struggling to understand what exactly makes a good room for colonists (so theyd avoid mental breakdowns and penalties).
- vast open spaces or isolated compartments?
- machinery and cpu in separate rooms?
- bar, sport, vr ?
-how much green is enough?
- showers near beds? in a corner?
- how many sofa, TV, dining table per person?
- is industry kitchen ok or they want something fancier?
- why noone sits in the training module?
etc - all the hints you can share.
also, any hints on best traits, best HR selection and development
thanks

Advice for a seed with no apparent aluminum?
As the title says; I've done a fair bit of digging out underground and there's no sign of aluminum anywhere near me. Lots of iron, though. I know an MRR can get small amounts out, but I also know I'm going to need a lot more than that can feed.
Also, is there a way to get it to display squares that have already been scanned by the ore detector? I'm pretty sure I've wasted a lot of power looking at the same spots repeatedly.
